Our service was faultless. A date for fitting the carpet was agreed well in advance and the fitters, Stuart and Will arrived promptly on the day. They worked diligently on the complex stair carpet until it was finished with a very courteous and helpful manner.
Everything was cleaned up and taken away on completion and the new carpet thoroughly vacuumed.

Fabulous job done

After many years of using mainstream carpet companies and having very poor laying service and carpet I was recommended PonsfordsThe whole experience to start with Carl was excellent, he was very helpful and knowledgeable The two fitters,Stuart and Will did a great job, very polite and tidy.They took their time and did a quality job without scratching any new paintI will definitely use Ponsfords again and would recommend you use them too!Thanks

Carpets fitted by Stuart and Will

Stuart and Will have been out today to fit our living room carpet. They arrived early to allow me to do the school run and were very friendly and professional. They did a fab job and we felt very comfortable having them in the house. Would definitely recommend and I can’t see us getting carpets from elsewhere now. Thank you both!

Our new stairs and landing carpethave just had a new carpet fitted to…

We have just had a new carpet fitted to the stairs and landing. The old carpet, underlay and gripper rods were taken up and disposed of, the landing boarded out and the new carpet fitted. Stuart, Will and Graeme did a superb job, fitted the carpet to perfection and cleared up everything afterwards.It was a pleasure to have them in our home.

Looking for a sofa

We recently ordered a sofa from ponsfords. Its a hard task and we went back several times to check various things. We were always seen by Hakima who gave us lots of advice as to what to look for and understood clearly what we wanted. She also arranged an access visit to make sure it would fit through our doors. We were very pleased with her service.

Nightmare experience and no new sofa

We were really excited with purchasing through Ponsfords and found a sofa we really loved. After purchasing in August 2025, we were told in December 2025 that the company we purchased from had gone into liquidation. The supplier had gone into liquidation in September 2025, and it took several months for something to be communicated to us. After speaking with the team, we were assured that we could still get the sofa, but would need to wait another 24 weeks.We kept the deposit live and went to Ponsfords to see if there was something else we might like. After not finding anything, we called to request our refund. We were then told that our sofa was actually on the next boat over from the manufacturers, and we would receive it in the next month or 2. We were very happy about this and in spite of waiting nearly 8 months were looking forward to our new sofa. Shortly after we were contacted again to tell us that our sofa was NOT on the boat, and as such we would need to wait even longer. At this point, we got our refund. We will never attempt to use Ponsfords again. Their products are good, but their customer service and communications this time around was truly awful. We appreciate that suppliers fail and that is not Ponsfords fault, however we would expect to have some communication and service to keep us in the loop. We are still without a sofa, and very upset.
