Comms excellent and team arrived as expected. One prob was getting out house as narrow hall. I managed to help resolve and in way. Due to traffic collection delayed but clear comms. Helped team identify options to ease that they had not seen before. Dropped one star as delivery was indicated by buyer as rushed and although on time felt lower care service.
I’d never heard of Proovia Couriers and was a little worried as it was a large parcel containing a table. But, I was impressed. I was messaged regarding day and timescale of the delivery, follow up phone call to say they’re not far away. Friendly and polite guys. Table delivered fine.
I thought I finally found a decent courier company that was kind and helpful. I paid for next day collection and was told I would receive a two hour time slot on the day. Upon paying for the collection I didn’t receive an email confirmation and I was told that if I sent proof of payment and details of collection and drop off they would manually set this up. A couple of hours later I received the confirmation email but with a 4 hour time slot. The staff said I would receive a 2 hour time slot on the day. Thankfully I did receive a 2 hour time slot but when checking the live tracking the 2 hour time slot was different to the estimated time of arrival. It wasn’t very clear having two time slots so I stuck with the live tracking. Unfortunately the live tracking kept changing every half an hour so I ended up spending my day waiting for the men to arrive. I then received three text messages stating they were 1.5hours delayed from the beginning of the time slot. The last text was received at around 10pm when the men had already collected the item. When the men finally arrived 4 hours after the estimated time of arrival there was no apology for the delay. They collected my item (I’m grateful for) and then left. The only positive feedback is they collected it on the day I paid for and delivered it the day I requested. I do feel let down from the service on the collection day. I waited in all day and no apology for the inconvenience.
The delivery was delayed 3 times and they left some items in the warehouse. The last delay was 1 hour before the delivery slot, just not good enough. They would have known well beforehand and should have relayed this information. Comms were generally OK and the bike was well protected but disappointed with the time it took.
