Order Issues and Poor Communication

I ordered a TV that was listed as immediately available with a delivery timeframe of 3–4 business days. After several days without any updates, I reached out to customer support multiple times and was consistently promised information, which never came. Eventually, I learned that the delivery was uncertain and would likely occur after the holidays, prompting me to cancel the order. Although I was told the refund would be processed within a few business days, weeks have gone by and the money has not yet been returned. Despite numerous follow-up calls, there has been no clear update or resolution. Overall, the communication was very poor and the delay in processing the refund is unacceptable.

We bought a tv and wall mounting on the 22/11/2025 and they told us that we will have the tv installed until the 28/11/2025. We paid 1500 euros and they still didn’t bring the tv and installation and today is the 14/12/2025. I have called them 4-5 times and always they say that they will check it and come back to me. Than nothing is happening.
Never again from Public. The worst service ever!

I advise against buying anything from this company. They sell defective and potentially hazardous products and refuse to issue refunds or replacements. I received an air fryer that emitted a strong, toxic plastic odor from the start, which caused headaches. Instead of addressing the issue, the company blamed me, claiming I didn’t know how to use the device. This is both insulting and unacceptable, especially since I followed the instructions precisely and have experience with air fryers. They returned the faulty product without making any repairs and acted as if the issue wasn’t real. This company demonstrates a complete lack of accountability, respect for customers, and concern for safety. Stay away from them to protect your money, time, and health.

I strongly advise against purchasing from this company. They sell faulty and potentially dangerous products while refusing to issue refunds or replacements. I received an air fryer that had a noxious plastic smell right from the start, which caused headaches. Instead of taking responsibility, the company tried to blame me, suggesting I didn’t know how to use it. This is both offensive and completely unacceptable, especially since I followed the instructions perfectly and have prior experience with air fryers. They sent the defective product back to me without fixing anything and acted as if there was no problem. This company shows no accountability, respect for customers, or concern for safety. Frustrating experience with my order.

I ordered a TV on November 22 and paid immediately. It was supposed to arrive by November 28, but it didn’t. I had to call five times to get updates. I was told the TV was supposed to come from central warehouses for inspection, and that November 28 was not the delivery date but the shipping date. After two weeks of anxiety, I decided to cancel the order. Now I’m left wondering when I will get my refund. This company is unreliable; don’t waste your time with them. I can’t believe that after payment, I had to beg for them to do their job. They never even apologized.

Poor availability of printer toner.

I want to express my strong dissatisfaction with my recent experience purchasing a printer from this store. A salesperson recommended a model, assuring me that all necessary supplies, including toner cartridges, would be readily available. However, a month later, when I needed a toner replacement, I was told it was out of stock. I made a 20-minute trip to the store only to be advised to search online, which would incur extra shipping costs. I thought this was a fluke, but it happened three more times. Each time, the staff were dismissive, telling me, 'This can happen sometimes.' Eventually, I had to order it online and wait over 10 days for delivery. This not only disrupted my work but also wasted my time. It’s unacceptable to sell printers without ensuring that essential supplies are consistently available. This lack of stock management shows a disregard for customer needs, prioritizing profits over reliable service. I do not recommend this store.

Received a damaged TV.

I ordered a TV online on August 1 and received it on the 19th, which was within the tracking estimate. However, the box was damaged, and upon opening, half of the 65-inch screen was black and showed no picture. After contacting customer service and sending pictures, they told me to return it for a refund or voucher. Since the TV barely fit in my car, I had paid for delivery, and they refunded the TV but not the 18 euros for delivery. I intended to use the voucher for another purchase, but due to the delivery cost not being refunded, I went elsewhere. I've had issues with this store before, and this was the last straw.

Disappointing installation experience.

Upon installation, I was unexpectedly asked to pay extra for the removal of the old unit, despite informing the company about it when I placed my order. There was no prior mention of this additional charge. Along with the agreed installation fee, I was asked to pay a significant extra amount for wiring length, with no willingness to negotiate. These hidden costs were revealed at the last minute, leaving me feeling misled. Due to this lack of transparency and fairness, I will not return for any future transactions.

Do not trust this company.

I strongly urge everyone to avoid this company. I placed an order, and part of it was canceled. Even after three weeks, they are still holding my money and refusing to return it to my card. I have contacted them multiple times without receiving a proper solution. Their handling of customer payments feels dishonest and unacceptable. No reputable company should hold such a large amount for so long after a cancellation. If you value your time and money, steer clear of this company. I will never shop here again.
