Great option for those staying near downtown area or near Pike Place Market in Seattle, WA. The surrounding area is a bit sketchy (urban downtown with some homeless), but our stuff was safe. It was convenient to have it held while we maximized our time to explore before check-in. We arrived at 8am. The man who helped us was very kind and friendly.
If I could rate this a zero star I would. Absolutely horrible couldn’t warn people to not use it enough.My partner and I had a 12 hour layover in Sydney and wanted to store our luggage to see the city. We booked and paid over $80 through radical storage two days ahead of time for a 24 hour luggage locker. When we arrived at the location not a single person was there, we tried calling any numbers we could find both for the storage location and for the radical storage company and absolute radio silence. We then had to head back to the airport to try to catch a sooner flight or wait for our flight because we were not paying for a hotel to store our luggage. If this wasn’t bad enough, we emailed them explaining the issue and asking for a refund, which they agreed to, and now over a month later we still haven’t received our money back and are getting radio silence emails.Do not use radical storage THEY SUCK!!!
The scheduled place was closed and we were left outside with all the luggage. The company couldn't find a solution and refunded the money, but we lost the entire morning carrying the big suitcases in the middle of nowhere. No live chat for customer service, only e-mail.
- Pretty cheap- Definitely a needed service- Fast response times from radical storage team and local organiser- Friendly peopleCONS: - Not like a public locker (check in and check out only at specified time at the time you ordered)- Relies on man power - the clerk to take your bags for you. This means you can't pick up your stuff at any time. So I wanted to pick up my bag at say 2am in the morning, but I wasn't allowed to specify this.
Thanks to this platform it was easy to find a place that was conveniently located closer to the nearest train station. The booking process was quick and easy and once at our chosen drop off location, the staff simply scanned the QR code and took our bags. I highly recommend this service, as it was reliable and had a really competitive price.
