Heard this firm went bankrupt and is under receivership. We had paid Removals.co.uk in full. They never paid their suppliers. All of our household goods are currently being held by a local delivery firm until we pay them money.

Got the job done despite Brexit & COVID

I needed to move from NI to Spain after Brexit and amid COVID-19 travel/movement restrictions, but most of the removal companies I contacted just refused to provide the service or provided crazy quotes (thousands of pounds) and delivery times (months).Michelle was nice and of great assistance (although each e-mail exchange would take 1 or 2 days) and got the job done. All my stuff was picked up at my doorstep by DHL and delivered at my new address in just 3 days (although I was expecting it to take 2-3 weeks), and at a reasonable cost!

PLEASE NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY I DONT THINK THEY EVEN HAVE THERE OWN VAN REMOVAL STAFF THERE JUST BROKERS ! They gave me 6 months of misery getting one Luton van of furniture from the uk to SPAIN , they continually lie and keep adding costs so Please NEVER EVER USE THESE COWBOYS !!!!!

AVOID!!!Glad to have read the reviews about this company before hiring.I had been in contact with Kate for a while and had mentioned my departure date from the UK - getting close to the move out date, Kate simply said that she was booked for 8 weeks and that if I wanted, I would get another agent to collect it though the price would go up by almost £300

Just a waste of time!

It didn’t go beyond the initial communication because they didn’t seem to care at all. It was about a move from the UK to Canada so of course I am worried about our goods and how successfully they will arrive at the destination. I expected a good service and was nothing but horrible. Short and uninformed answers, I had to ask things again and again. I spoke to Kate and it was the most unpleasant experience that I ever had, and I have had worked in customer service for many years now and I spoke to thousands of people already. I don’t recommend it, especially after reading all the online reviews. Not truth-worthy at all. Shame for them, because they have lost a client, money and a good review. Good for me because I found a different, extremely professional company and way cheaper than Removals.co.uk.

Good value and serice

Requested quotes from several comapnies and this was by far the best value. Good and responsive customer service, answering all my questions & concerns quickly and effectively. The removal itself was very smooth from pick-up to delivery.

I should have read the reviews before booking! Shocking service, no correspondence after the money has been paid, over 4 hours late arrived at 6.30pm which caused no end of problems with the new owners, rude miserable crew who wouldn’t wear protective over shoes on new flooring, broken and missing items, the list is never ending.The directors won’t respond to emails or calls to discuss their companies appalling service.Their website promises they will help move without the stress - utter rubbish. Our coordinator Michele couldn’t even be bothered to notify us that the crew were going to be over 4 hours late.The only helpful person was a James who works in the office.Unprofessional outfit.Dreadful experience.I would never recommend or use this company again

Move from UK to Greece, very satisfied

Very good communication with Michelle Harris. Prompt responses and very helpful. The collection team was very polite, fast and careful. The delivery was done with a very big truck which was not able to come to my door. However, all items were delivered to my house properly. Very good and professional work.Space for improvement: Be able to deliver with smallest vehicles to villages and small towns.Advise to future customers: During communication be straight to the point in order to avoid unnecessary e-mails exchange and spent valuable time (yours and agents'). Do all the necessary things (Documents, schedules etc.) and ask for help and clarifications from agent if you are not sure for something.
