Had an oppritun card, when it switched to revel i refused the card and services and said i will pay off the debt. 8 months go by they charged me an annual fee in though i don't have an account with them. I do not have a card and have not signed the agreements of services. These people are bad people. I would stay clear of revel. Very dishonest and illegally charging me an annuall fee for services i am not receiving. This is theft.
This is the worst customer service ever the 800 number on the back of the card does not ring if you want to cancel the card that 800 number does not answer. I have emailed this company several times and no one has replied when I get to stores that my card is declined I just got a new card ( revel) and the card is active online but when you go to purchase anything it is declined. I have $1000 limit with them and I can’t buy a piece of gum With the card
I would give a fffnnnggg Zero if I could .. Since it's changes to Revel, I constantly have a hard time signing on which led me to forget that I didnt pay..(ADHD).. Not an excuse, but reason..I just recieved letter they've revoked my account... This is after I just checked bill and said was due on August 9th....Now that probably put a ding in my cresit report..I was never late Once when it was opportun... Customer service is horrible along with its shitty website... VERY PISSED OFF RIGHT NOW!! Nothing but frustration here..
I wouldn't even give them one star but they made me. I had my car for years and then they switched to Revel. Since the switch I've had nothing but trouble from paying my bill to very rude and hard to understand customer service. The last straw was when I made my payment at one time through customer service because I did not want to attach payments to my bank account. Your customer service rep messed up my debit card number and did not catch on to it right then and there. They waited until my payment was late and then build me a late fee. When I called to try to get it all straightened out I ended up getting into it with them over switching my phone number that they would not do. Even though that was an old phone number and I was trying to update my information. They was trying to force me to send them a copy of my phone bills which I would not do. Ended up canceling out my card because they would not take the late fees off which was not my fault and would not switch my phone number. They wasted no time putting this on my credit report even though I told them to send me a bill and I would pay it off 100%. as of date I've not received the bill but they've already reported it to the credit bureau which affected my credit score. My suggestion is do not use this company for no reason the ripping people off with their late charges and refuse to help you in any manner. All of their customer reps that I've talked to are foreigners and very very hard to understand. To me this company is just rip off and they're going to take advantages of as many people as they can.
Had my card automatically switched from opportun to revel. Wasn’t notified that it would also add a $99 dollar annual fee. Haven’t used the card since it was switch and missed a payment due to added annual fee. Called customer service to see what they could do and wasn’t able to even take late payment off. Cancelled card immediately and they basically took $99 of my hard earned money and lowered my credit. Way better cards than these people. Don’t do it.
