Terrible service from riverside repairs dept reported leaves blocking my downspout manholes ages ago not heard from them we have not seen our housing officer for over a year as well no wonder riverside have such bad reviews and this is a over fifties site.
Riverside are withholding money which has been paid to them by my late mother and will not return it, despite making promises that they will send it back. They are deliberately ignoring my calls and emails which is totally unacceptable. Disgusting way to treat people. The money is a part refund for service charge due to my late mother having to tolerate two years of heating not working correctly and having to use portable heaters which cost a fortune to run. The poor treatment in the first place is bad enough, but then to not return the payment that is rightfully ours, is tantamount to stealing in my opinion.
I reported 5 weeks ago that we have damp/mould growing on our bedroom ceiling and a 4 month old baby sleeping in this room (that now has a cold due to the situation) and am still waiting for someone to call me back to resolve the issue! I logged a complaint with riverside on 27/11/24 which I understand their policy is a complaints handler will call me back within 5 working days being today the 5th day, to then ring up and be told it has not even yet been passed to a complaint's handler! This is absolutely SHOCKING!! I am today taking my complaint to the ombudsman and contacting a newspaper with my story about my baby and the way this company has treat me! DO NOT BUY A HOME FROM RIVERSIDE SHARED OWNERSHIP! I have contacted Paul Dolan the CEO of Riverside in hope this will get me somewhere.
There have been many problems whilst my time living at my flat under Riversides Management. One of our bins in the rubbish room has been broken since Nov 2024 and we are still waiting on a replacement. Riverside blames the council the council told us it is Riversides responsibly to reorder the parts. I am sick of living somewhere where I can even get rid of my rubbish if and when I want. The ground rent is NOT CHEAP either! Sick to death of the problems and I know most of the other residents share the same pain as me.
