Absolutely avoid !!Ordered from these cowboys , told in stock on the phone , paid for them only to get a email days after to say out of stock for another 10 days but arrived another week after delivery date .I needed for a job and realy messed me up .When arrived one of the pieces was damaged , I bought elsewhere to finish the job ..A very stressful experience .1 star is the lowest I can go on here !
The worst customer service I have ever experienced. We were given 5 separate delivery days and having read the small print if you aren't in you pay for further deliveries so better make sure you are. 3 days annual leave wasted and a day unpaid to the cost of £180 and it still hadn't arrived. 4 emails sent, all ignored! The company process and lack of communication has left us out of pocket and we have been told as a 'good will gesture' we can have a refund on the delivery cost. All the additional costs are our problem. I get the problem doesn't necessarily lie with roofing megastore but the lack of communication/false information and outright ignoring emails which led to the loss of earning is their fault! Plenty more companies can provide the same product with a better service! AVOID!
I placed an order via the web. Phoned them the next day and needed to change it: no problem, i'll change it right away. Called them three weeks later, and got a detailed update on the status, including notes of my earlier amendment. I'm very happy with the attention and personal concern their staff give to my order being right.
well firstly they dont actually have anything to sell they are just an agent with lots of keywords and paying adds to get you to buy then the items can be randomly sent again as they dont organise it so i had to be present on three times which was an inconvenience to say the least. forget about returns as they don't accept them even though i emailed them three times and got no response, so its just sell and forget , this was my third order and found sales team unhelpful, one technical question was shown to have little knowledge of roofing, as the corrugated roof overlap was not known and sent me to an another online portal to read there instructions.
The roofing sheets are good the fact they are cut to the correct length is great and there is no waste. I am in the process of re roofing my shed /workshop built some 20 years ago which then I wanted a steel sheet roof but there wasn’t anywhere that cut the sheet to length and to buy the sheets in the factory lengths would have made a lot of waste of which I would have been paying for.The delivery cost is acceptabe and the delivery drivers are great, had a second delivery to a friend the access was not good the driver managed well.
