Poor courier service

Items were delivered separately and plastic roofing arrived damaged TWICE. Instead of using a safer carrier they refused to complete my order and partially refunded me. Although my issues were caused by their regular courier they should have done more to complete my order, by using a more competent courier to resend my outstanding item, instead of making me source my missing item from another supplier. Will definitely not be using this company again. I chose not to leave a bad review originally but they have re-prompted me to give a review some 2 month afterwards

Plastic slate tiles

The plastic slate tile looked fantastic. You would be hard pushed to tell the difference from the real thing esp from real thing on any roof. Easy to work with and all measurements and placing embossed onto the tile. So glad I used these and very quick delivery from order date I was very impressed thank yiy

Unacceptable Service and Complete Breakdown in Basic Customer Care

My experience with this company has been entirely unsatisfactory from start to finish. I requested a simple colour change of the fittings approximately 20 minutes after placing my order — a request submitted only after multiple failed attempts to reach anyone by phone or via the online chat, which never connected.Despite raising this issue almost immediately, the company failed to act on it. This was three days before the scheduled delivery (which the delivery of the fittings did not take place) and four days before I eventually received the incorrect black fittings. The fact that no one within the organisation was apparently able — or willing — to communicate a basic amendment in that timeframe raises serious concerns about their internal processes and overall competence. I'm not surprised they have a low overall review score.To make matters worse, I was then informed that I would be responsible for the cost of returning the incorrect items, even though the failure occurred on their side. This response is completely unacceptable. While I am within my rights to return the full order for a full refund at my own expense, it should never have been necessary, and it reflects a clear disregard for the customer.The customer service has been consistently poor, and very dismissive. There was no ownership of the issue, no proactive communication, and no effort made to rectify a situation caused by their own operational shortcomings.I strongly advise others to consider this experience before placing an order. This level of service is simply not acceptable in any professional business.As a side comment, the products look good quality, but unpackaged. A few of the roofing sheets had damage on them, but I know that I could cover them when fitting, so I've never mentioned that.

Avoid - horrendous communications and approach generally

Avoid. For what I said was an urgent order, it took 12 days to around a dozen emails from me, online chats and several phone calls to get them to provide an invoice, for it end in a bait and switch (they added an massive additional delivery charge which was not part of any previous quote/agreement, despite products remaining the same or less). It took 8 days and a lot of chasing for them to say they would not price match either of the cheaper quotes of which I'd provided them with full details. Extraordinary and hugely disappointing, and a total waste of everyone's time. I ended up having to cancel the order (though they've yet to confirm/acknowledge this). Quite how they're still in business I have no idea.

Only 4 out of 10 item arrived 1 was damaged and the overall quality was temu

I orded anough materials for a new roof for my summerhouse and the adverst on their wwbsite stated high quality materials ext, so i paid £320 for 2 sheets plus all the extras to attach it all, well 2 weeks later when i fanaly had delivery only 4 out of 10 item arrived and the sheets was such low quality i mean really poor chinese rubbish sometging that they sell in my local diy for £12 but they had the neck to cahrge me £78 for i was not happy,I emailed fist that was ignored to then called but they are not playing ball stating that this rubbish is cut to order and canot be returned, then after i told them i do not want anything except my refund, they then stated that they had resent the missing items, why after i told them i want a refund, these people clearly specalise in conning people online and must be avoided at all times

All good

All good. Easy to use website with helpful estimating tool and installation advice. Delivered on time all intact and helpful driver who unloaded and put materials in a safe place as we couldn’t get to the delivery site in time. We were installing the Corotherm multi wall system replacing an old roof on a lean-to. Very happy with finished result which looks good from inside as well as outside. Did have a faulty roll of Flashband but that was dealt with very quickly and efficiently. Thanks Megastore!!

Buyer BEWARE. The website looks good, professional even but that's where it ends. Customer service and communication, abysmal. Delivery of goods, in your dreams. Fortunately I have paid by credit card so will be reclaiming though my card provider. You have been warned!

very helpful and informative on products, even when 2 of the 4 sheets ordered were damaged, the speed of turn around (3 days) enable the works to continue to completion in the time slot allocated, ie my sons booked holiday, fantastic service, and the prices beat all others

Delays, no delivery horrendous customer service may be a scam

Delays in delivery then given a 48 hour window with someone needing to be there. Not delivered.Message to say delivery will be between 10:00 and 13:00 the next day.Not deliveredReceived a call to say it had been delivered but it hasn’t and I have been here all day waiting.Said they would phone back but haven’t and won’t answer th 11 calls that eventually go to voicemailConcerned this may be a scam company
