I could get through on the phone to get updates and the people on the other end were generally helplful, however I asked for the tax free cash from 3 different pension providers on the same day and you were by far the slowest and most complex in response, more forms and longer to get the money which you have now told me I will get in 3 to 5 working days, more than two weeks after the intial request, and I had to chase a form and chase for info. Possibly beciase the others already had built in drawdown while yours became a new plan. On the upside you seemed to conduct more due diligence.
I rang up to ask about pension options available to me, now that I have reached a certain age. I got through quite quickly to Chloe Etchells and despite a bad line, Chloe took her time to answer all my questions and explained to me the different options that were available. I was not looking for advice, just available options. Chloe has now also sent me through lots of information so I can make an informed decision.
I had to call Royal London's Customer Services Team to deal with an issue and was expecting a typical, scripted reaction to my enquiry. What I received was the exact opposite! The Consultant who picked up my call, Guy Warburton, went over and above in his role to make me feel at ease, calmed and reassured! I couldn't thank Guy enough for his attitude. He was a rare find and I am so grateful for his patience, understanding and commitment to resolving my issue. 10/10 to you Guy! Thank you so much!
