Ordered a rug, which arrived relatively promptly. I was disappointed with the colour as it didn't match that on the website. I contacted Rugs.co.uk to arrange a return, only to discover the return will cost me £66 (the rug only cost £105). I think it is very misleading to use ".co.uk" when the returns can only go to Switzerland or the USA. Avoid this company
I placed an order for the wrong colour item. I called them a couple of hours later to change it, thinking it would be an easy switch. They said the item had already shipped and couldn't be changed (despite a suggested delivery time of 5 business days). The .co.uk website leads you to believe you are ordering locally from the UK. They said to return my item (to the USA or Switzerland) I had to pay for shipping myself or use their FedEx service which they'd deduct 95GBP from my refund for. The website name is misleading, and returns too expensive as to be a reasonable option. Also, I find it hard to believe it was too late to cancel my order (a few hours after placing it). Good selection of rugs, but dubious service.EDIT: Additionally, they had a countdown to the end of their sale the day I ordered with just a few hours left which had pressured me into ordering quickly. A couple of days after this, I went back to their website and another sale was on with a countdown timer. The rug was the same discounted price in the 'new' sale.
THIS COMPANY IS MISLEADING CUSTOMERS. THEY ARE BASED IN THE USA AND IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY WITH THE PRODUCT YOU MUST RETURN IT TO THE USA OR SWITZERLAND. I AM AMAZED THIS IS LEGAL. THE WEBSITE ENDING CO.UK LEADS YOU TO BELIEVE THE WAREHOUSE IS IN THE UK. Shocking.
