A new smart meter fitted 2025. My Direct debit was stopped. My account closed. No emai to letme know this was going nor had happened.I phoned 4 weeks ago and was told there was a glitch in the system and would be fixed within 5 - 8 days. I'm still waiting. I dare not phone Scottish Power again as I am with Talk Talk and they charge me for 0345 numbers
You failed to get your Smart Meter system to work correctly and left with a job half done. I do not believe in 2025 electronic facilities are not available to overcome your failure to get my gas meter to communicate with my electric meter. I did not want smart meters - Scottish Power persuaded me to have them and failed to provide the promised service. At least the engineer who attended was polite, courteous and helpful with explanations.
