The first lady that welcomed and "explained" to us how the store works was very condescending but the other salesman and the manager was very helpful and friendly. We ended up walking out with a new couch which we are waiting to receive.
After my first review showing their way to still people, they send to me email , asking me to send my contact details. I did and I received a phone call asking me this time to pay 400 euro for Repairing my sofas ( even is their responsibilities to fix it) because was in the garantie time. After I refuse the woman she called me start talking with arrogance and telling me that I must pay so otherwise I must fix myself. So guys , take care , far away from this thieves. I hope the money they stole me , they are going to use for medicine to cure their worst sickness. Starting from the seller , the one who call to fix the issues and the owner. Thieves.........
Urgent Complaint – Refund Request for Returned Sofa (€1,300)Dear Seat and Sofa Team,On 23.07.2025, I purchased a sofa from your Zoeterwoude branch. On that date, the sales staff put strong pressure on me to make the purchase and assured me that I could return it within 14 days for a full refund. Relying on this statement, I decided to buy the sofa.On 31.07.2025, I went back to the store to return the sofa in full. At first, a female staff member told me that I did not have the right to return it. However, I am aware of my consumer rights under Dutch law. Therefore, I asked to speak to the male staff member who had sold me the sofa. When he arrived, I reminded him that he had told me I had the right to return it. He confirmed this, admitted that he was aware of the situation, and assured me that he would process the return. He also informed me that my money would be refunded within approximately 5 days.It has now been 20 days, and I still have not received my refund. This situation has left me in serious financial difficulty and caused me great distress.On 14.08.2025, I received an email with the subject line: "Verzoek aanvraag (deel-)annulering koopovereenkomst 99082905."This seems to indicate a partial cancellation, which is incorrect, as I returned the sofa in full. I demand the full refund of €1,300 immediately.It is unacceptable that such a well-known company across the Netherlands provides such poor customer service.
