I have bought a couch from Seats and Sofas it was beautiful with a good quality but unfortunately one side was shorter than what I ordered. The process of return was not easy at all that I had to make many visits to the store in Zoeterwoude asking to handle this and solve the problem but at the end they took the couch back and gave me my money back.After all I would thank Seats n Sofas for their response n I would be happy to be a customer.
On November 10th I went to the Seats and Sofas store in Eindhoven because I was looking for a sofa for my new home.The staff there were very helpful and we liked one model of the sofa.Among the different types of fabrics that we could choose they showed us a sample of the Ivory that they had in stock in the warehouse and we could have it faster than the usual 6 weeks.On November 28th the sofa arrived and right away we could notice the different shades in the different pieces that it contains and in the different cushions.We tried to change the position of the cushion to confirm that it wasn't just because of the light, which it wasn't.The next day, we went back to the store to complain and they told us to fill out the complaint online and claim the warranty, which we did.The answer on the following Tuesday was that this is expected of this fabric and there was nothing wrong, so they would refuse to help or the claim of warranty.After that, I went to the store again on December 4th. The person responsible for dealing with this issue was not present in the store, so we had to go back again the next day.The next day, the manager told me there was nothing they could do. I tried to request a refund and she told me they don't do returns.I tried to argue that they only showed me a small sample, but she told me that it didn't matter.I think I was scammed by this store and they sent me this sofa in different colors with no option to return.I don't recommend anyone to buy from here because you have to be lucky not to have any problems, otherwise they won't help you in any way.
Kind and patient staff.. They take all the time you want to find the solution to your ideas and needs.. After two hours of trying different sofas, seeing different types of fabrics and colors we managed to build our dream sofa.. All this accompanied by good coffee and snacks for my daughter... I recommend seat and sofas to everyone even to the most undecided people, they will help you find the perfect sofa for your space, your pocket and above all your dreams...Thanks Seats and Sofas 😊
I had a request to reduce the size of right arm of Sofa within 2days of my order, that was handle very swiftly by the @seats and sofas. However, while checking revised order copy, I observed that the original price of individual components were inflated to match the earlier order price. I was taken by surprise as I was expecting reduction in the price. I sent few emails but no response so far. I called the shop and agent informed me the change in size will have 15-20 eur impact on the total prize. What if I have increased the size, will Seat and Sofas will charge me only 15-20eur extras? Sure, not. It will be 300-400eurs. So why not give benefits to the customer when they get the size reduced compared to the order one. I am still waiting for the official email response from Seats and Sofas but almost 3 weeks passed no response Hence, I have to write the experience in the public forum. Hope I will be informed in the coming days with transparent pricings.
I have never experienced such a bad customer experience in my life.I think the existing CRM system is not good enough to give a good customer experience. The entire process is so manual and not transparent. I would never buy any other product with this company considering the unreliability and the lack of care and empathy for the customer. My sofa has been picked up begging of January2025 for repair and nobody can tell me where it is and when is going to be delivered(if it’s still going to be delivered!!)I’ve been contacting the customer service since November 2024 because my sofa was broken in less than 1 year. I had to follow up a couple of times to get a response about the next step. After I finally received an answer,I paid the transportation fee but I was never contacted back to make an appointment for the pickup. I had to call a couple of times to make directly an appointment with the transportation company. I’ve been said the upholstery can take 6-12 weeks. After 6 weeks i called the customer service to check the status. Only at that point the customer service representative told me the couch was not yet sent for repair because i still need to go and choose the material!!!!Nobody informed me I had to do this, and in 6 weeks I never received a phone call or email to be notified this step is still missing. I went to the shop, chosen the material, and I called a couple of times to make sure all is in order and nothing else is missing. Again calling a couple of times without any success; nobody knows; every time I am being promised i will be called back and it didn’t happened(not even the manager of the customer service that promised she will call me). At this point, I am disappointed, frustrated and lost all the patience I could have.
There are two problems.One, the side of the sofa is not aligned to the floor even after correct installation. There is a gap between the floor and legs.The second one , is the fabric has some defect in some of the seating place.I asked for the fix , but they gave a lot of excuses and asked to fix myself. This is just after getting the product.
