We had an excellent experience purchasing our sofa at Seats and Sofas. From the very beginning, the entire process went smoothly — from choosing the model and fabric, to negotiating the price and arranging the delivery.When the sofa arrived, it exceeded our expectations. The design and the fabric were absolutely beautiful. We are extremely happy with our purchase and highly recommend the store.
We visited Seats and Sofas today. As soon as we walked in, a staff member handed us a booklet, which already felt a bit unfriendly. My girlfriend and I started looking around, but when someone came to assist us, she didn’t speak English and had just started working there, so I had to translate everything for my girlfriend.A little later, another employee who did speak English came to help us, but then suddenly left us alone again. The overall sales approach felt quite pushy and aggressive, which made the experience uncomfortable.After that, we went to Woon Square, and that turned out to be a much more pleasant and customer-friendly experience.
The reviews are fake. I can tell you that they really screwed me over. Whatever you do, do not buy from them!!! You will thank me!Background: I went to their store, and found a couch I liked. They offered me this special deal to pay in installments, so I took it as I had just bought a new home and needed the money. I concluded a contract with them on the 5th of September, when I paid the first installment of 250 EUR, in the shop. On that day, my sofa was in stock, at the shop in the Hague, as stated by the sales assistant. The sales assistants said that I can pay the second installment when they deliver the couch and that I can make an appointment for this delivery later on. Two weeks pass, and I get a phone call that they cannot deliver the couch until I paid everything. I told the customer service that this is not what was told to me when I orginally bought the sofa etc, but they insisted so I transferred the rest of 600 EUR. I contacted them afterwards to make an appointment for the couch delivery, but as it was the weekend, they refused and said I need to contact them during workdays. I contacted them again and we agreed that they will deliver the couch on the 29th of September. They said I will be the first one the list to get her delivery. Mind you, the delivery is 150 EUR extra. On the 29th of September, the delivery man told me that my couch was at a different store (???), so the sales assistants from the Den Haag store sold the couch that was intended for me to a different customer in the meantime. Starting the 29th until the 2nd of October, I called their driver and their call center multiple times, which had all ranges of excuses from ''This is the call center in Hengelo'' (?? there is only one number) to ''I cannot help you', you need to go to the Den Haag store". I went to the store, and told them that I wanted to cancel my order, as no one knew where my order was or when it was going to be delivered. They said that as a cancellation fee, a 50% fee will be deducted from the refund and if I do not want that, I need to give them more time to deliver. It doesn't matter the cancellation was due to their inability to deliver, nor did it matter that this couch was not custom-made, so they could re-sell it to anyone. This is illegal.It's really a disgusting way to screw people over, so that's that.
I have a complaint. I brought the sofa from seats and sofa mijdrecth shop. I paid for the new sofa in full and you delivered me the exact showroom model that I saw . The delivery guy also mentioned me that it’s a showroom model. Also the young salesman in the shop told that you don’t have the new in white but the elder salesman mentioned to us that will get a new one. Attached are the pictures of the same.As I cannot comment on the seats and sofa response, I am writing here:I went to seats and sofas mijdrecht yesterday evening and the point of contact in the shop and salesman accepted that the employee did fraud and send me the old and dirty showroom model to my house.They also accepted in front of my Dutch friend ( I took him for fill the language gap) that a solution will be provided asap. Also the existing showroom model was out of there and placed in my house. They took all my details but no response. I also raised complaint and sent the email to midrecht and customer service
1. Wonderful service. (the staff is very friendly and helps to choose a sofa for any budget)2. The sofa was delivered to us on the same day. ( if the sofa is in stock, you can pick it up right away ) It’s almost impossible in Netherlands 3. We paid by 3 parts ( it’s really helped us )4. It’s the best experience with buying furniture. Really kind and nice guy, who consulted us, I think it was manager. Thank you so much, guys! I would advise everyone to buy here sofa!!!
I order Sofa from here and after long waiting time we received our Sofa. As soon as i unpack the Sofa i found that it's a defective piece and team is not doing any quality check before getting this deliver. Front panel was broken, nails was placed with oversized due to storage box can't be used as it can damage the things placed in the storage box. Plywood was broken at multiple places etc.I took photo for each details and shared with the team at the same day of delivery and they promised that new panel will be delivered and team who will come to fix they will review the other defects as well.Now it's more than 4 months and i am still waiting for that service team to bring that new panel to fixed but no response, sending email, trying to call on daily basis but no positive response yet.So my overall experience with this purchase is very frustrating and will not recommend any one to but Sofa from here in case you are looking for any good buying experience.
