Booked my MOT for my 5 year old BMW at rocky Hill, Maidstone. They said it had failed on a serious oil leak. The car did not have an oil leak as there was nothing showing on my drive beforehand. They put it in the ramp and it had fresh, clear oil that appeared to be dripping from the sump. I told them this was not possible and they started saying they hadn't done anything and that I could check their CCTV footage. Me thinks they protest too much!! I stood my ground and they wiped off the oil and said if it carried on dripping they would have to fail it. Well, no drips and no evidence of old oil. So they passed it. They kept saying I should take it to my garage and get it looked at straight away. I think they were trying to get a service out of me for nothing. I have had no oil from it since and think they were trying it on with a woman. I will not be going back. Be warned!!!
Different prices in different areas🤷♀️🤷♀️Why do you charge different prices for the same tyres at different branches? And MOT’s are charged differently too. Not franchises, so why the difference?No legit reason for this, and it just seems like customers being taken advantage of again. All business owners: JUST BECAUSE YOU CAN, DOESN’T MEAN YOU SHOULD! customers are sick if this kind of behaviour. I was trying to save a little money because everyone is up against it right now. However, I’m going to stick with the regular people I trust and who are completely transparent, even though it’s going to cost me a bit more.
Brought 2 continental tyres just before Christmas paid £250 at the Hove branch drove 4 miles then left the car on my driveway untill 10th Jan on return one of the tyres was flat tried inflated it but kept going down could not see anything visible drive back to setyres in Hove and explained there brand new tyres had hardly any use.They said they found a small screw and said this was the cause it took the fitter 3 mins to take the wheel off and fix a puncher they charged me £24 I would have thought they would have done this for free as hardly used the car and just paid them £250 that’s customer service for you “I now have one tyre with a rubber bung hanging out of the central part of the tyre not even cut flush not sure if it will stay inflated time will tell.! not only this but when changing both tyres they took a chunk out of the alloy rim assume with a tyre lever. won’t be using them again..
Brought my car in for a tyre replacement. All went well until they didn't return my lugnut remover. After 4 calls and 'repeated' searches they said they didn't have it and wouldn't help any further. They basically stole my lug nut remover that's worth £30. Avoid at all costs.
Walking my dog, one of these vans pulls right infront of me and blocks the pavement completely. I asked the guy to move politely so we could carry on and I got given abuse and told to go around which meant walking in the road in a blind spot to on coming traffic. I took pictures and got more abuse from the driver. All I was asking him to do was to leave some pavement space for people to walk past. If this is the attitude you get when not even hiring this company, I would avoid at all costs !!!
setyres tunbridge wells (northfarm) got there 8.10 am the guy in reception very rude he doesn't know how to speak to the customer I ask him I need same Tyers I ask him to go and check he come back and said I need 4 Tyers I said ok I ask how how its going to take he said 1 hour 3 hours later I got up and ask this guy in reception what's going on he went and check and the car has been ready for while what a experience never going back there again and please stay way from this place is so many tyer places in tunbridge wells
