Excellent service

I usually only leave reviews to complain but I was very impressed with setyres in Tunbridge Wells. Both the guy on the service desk and the technician were very nice and professional. I hadn't used setyres before but will certainly be returning for my MOT.

Quoted V actual price difference

Phoned Lancing branch for price on front wheel alignment, was quoted £35, told to go to seafront branch, no appointment needed. Went down within the hour to have the tracking done, was then told the cost when paying, £45! Questioned the invoice but was told 'that was the price, I must have been told wrong'.Seems to be one price over the phone, another when you have the work done. Please be aware!

I WONT BE RETURNING

On the 22nd July I booked and had a MOT carried out. It's with regret as being a customer with SETYRES Maidstone for 20 years and being in the past very pleased with the service I won’t be returning. I would highly recommend you follow their advise and that you remove all items even in your boot from your vehicle before leaving it with Maidstone SETYRES !!

SE Tyres Blackfen branch

Used Blackfen branch. This is the second time they have told a female that a nail in tyre means straight away no repair and that a new tyre is needed! Not even prepared to take it off to have a look. Went elsewhere and they repaired it straight away ! No need for new tyre! Females beware

Delicate staff?!

Used a couple of times. Work is good and their first come first served approach works well. Only weird thing was after about 40 minutes (total time was 70/80 minutes for 4 tyres and wheel alignment) at the Burgess Hill branch one of team who was in and out doing admin (seemed like the manager) started talking to a customer about me being impatient, one of those passive aggressive things we've all said. But I'm equal parts miffed and amused because I had said nothing at all and I can only guess that it was because I had looked up to see what was happening with my car after about half an hour. Truly this was an overly sensitive reaction that made the other 2 or 3 in the waiting room have eye brow raising reactions of 'wow really?'. Setyres seem like decent workers but maybe not a happy bunch sadly. Perhaps they get regular abuse and are acting out because they've developed a chip on their shoulder from years of being treated badly?

Tyre change

What a fantastic service Got a flat tyre late yesterday, Drove to Kwik fit as was the only place open.Was told I need 2 new tyres albeit there is nothing wrong with any of my other tyres they wanted £500 +Went to setyres on the way home in Drayton Portsmouth Paul at the desk told me to go and see the tyre lads they took tyre off and showed me it couldn't be repaired and they replaced with a new tyre.Also put my spare back under van.Really first class professional service.And very honest Cost £90What a difference Thankyou so much

Friendly and efficient.

No hassle - efficient, cheery and friendly service in Sevenoaks. Happy to change an existing tyre to a new wheel - which a nearby 'big brand' centre wouldn't do. A much nicer experience and will use every time now.
