Their professionalism, honesty, and attention to detail truly stand out.During my first visit for wheel balancing and alignment, they noticed that my rear wheel nuts were rusted and might snap — something no other shop had mentioned. Their clear advice and care impressed me. Since then, I’ve returned for tyre replacement and routine checks, and every time, they’ve provided expert, cost-effective service.Special thanks to Matt and Ryan for their friendly approach and excellent workmanship. Went online 22 Sept, booked and paid for MOT for 4th Oct at 10.45am. Had confirmation email from SET. Arrived 10.30am Hailsham and met by 2 guys smugly saying was booked for 18th Oct, did not have the letter with me so agreed to come back, returned 18th and was told well you should have been here at 10.00am not 10.45am, so no MOT that day, asked for refund which arrived 12 days !! later. Had proof that they were in the wrong (i.e booked for 4th Oct at 10.45am)and their system was not working as it should, they were not interested, arrogant and dismissive. Never again......
I had a very disappointing experience with SE Tyres Heathfield.In July, I booked a diagnostic for a check engine light. I was told there was a major electrical fault and requested a quote to fix it, along with a cambelt replacement. I received a quote (around £500) and booked the earliest appointment for 20th August.When I collected the car, I discovered the check engine light was still on. No one had contacted me to clarify or confirm the work, and when I called the next day, I was told the cambelt replacement was just routine maintenance and would not fix the issue. This was extremely frustrating, as my initial request had clearly been to repair the fault.Worse still, I was told I could keep driving the car. A second opinion at another garage revealed the real issue was the alternator—and the car was not safe to drive. This left me without a car for longer than expected, cost me more money, and caused unnecessary disruption to my work.I found the service unprofessional and dismissive. I won’t be returning, and I’ll be discouraging friends and family from using them.
Great customer service today st Setyres in Totton, Southampton. The guy looked at my car because it sounded like a tank, I thought the exhaust was hanging off, he advised it was a corroded heat shield, which he removed for me in seconds, with no charge. Cannot thank you enough. Excellent service from this company.
