Review Time
Ordered a Shark cordless on the 2nd October and 2 days later I received notification that the vacuum would be delivered the following day when I'd be given a time slot. The following day I received a text saying they were unable to deliver the package but would try again the next day. The next day I received a similar text which is absolute nonsense as I'd been home all day on both occasions. I contacted Shark at least 4 times trying to find out what was going on but all I was told was they'd call me back but that never happened. I called them today and was told that the machine was being returned to them and I could get a refund within 10 days, I said I just wanted the cleaner, but they said I'd need to re-order. Absolutely nil customer service with a similar courier service. Since then, I've purchased a similar devise from John Lewis and very happy with it, but what a shame their delivery and customer care service can't match the quality of Shark's product

Bought in February last year. Never worked properly after about a month. We charge it up and then the charge dies in about 30 seconds. Finally got around to contacting their customer service people in October, never heard a thing back. Atrocious. I hope they go out of business promptly.
i have rated this shark hoover a one.. its perhaps the worst hoover ive had .. its just one year old and it is ready for the bin.. it keeps cutting out. you are for ever charging the battery up.. it picks up and spits it out. its hit and miss if you get a good suction. worst hoover ever cant wait and save my money up for a decent hoover
Ordered and received the IZ300UK cordless direct from Shark. Had to go through customer service as I couldn't get the online offer to work on my PC. Thought that may prove difficult but they did it all by phone and email including the free CAR DETAIL KIT and a refund of the Seniors discount code that failed to apply with the online transaction. All in all delighted with Shark customer service (Joanne👌) and the performance of the cordless cleaner. 1st class Shark 👌
Customer Non-Service. Called to get help with a cordless cleaner, they would not discuss it with me as my wife is the "account holder". It is not under guarantee, but they would not talk to me due to data protection. IT'S A BLOODY VACUUM CLEANER, not a financial arrangement. Pathetic service!!!!
I have just reviewed my new, excellent Shark cordless hoover -but while reviewing my own review (I know) I couldn't help but notice another review from today saying that the display wasn't working. I don't mean to be facetious but I thought the same at first until I peeled off what was clearly only a sticker advertising what the display looks like – the real display is underneath! 😂
Not worth the money!! As you know it's an expensive piece of equipment, if you have animals, do not buy this hoover. I have to sweep my floors before I hoover and even then, it's constantly getting blocked. It pushes the dirt around the foor instead of picking it up. Wouldn't mind if it was cheap but it's far from it!!
Have just thrown this awful Shark upright cordless away. Spent more time cleaning it and sorting it out than I did vacuuming the house. Poor suction, lousy battery life, more temperamental than an emotional Victorian housewife with the vapours. When it suddenly decides to stop working mid-room it simply vomits whatever it has feebly collected back on to the carpet. Waste of money. Back to my trusty Henry!
Purchased a reconditioned IZ300UKTDB from Ebay Shark website several months back and it works a treat. The very small car tools kit is totally useless and a waste of money. It's a little heavy that may be an issue for some people. However, generally as with our corded Shark we are very pleased. The suction is not as good as the excellent corded model but still fine. It's also as with the corded model easy to add attachments and also clean. Frankly after having several Dysons that were very overpriced for moderate performance, I will stick with Shark. I will not go into the expensive corded upright Miele once purchased that was a terrible upright with poor suction and clearly unlike Shark, Miele, do not wish people to open them up.
We bought our cordless anti hair wrap pet version over a year ago now, best decision ever! It’s still working the same as when we bought it. It is heavier than the dyson but I find the suction much better. It took me ages to decide whether to try it or not and now I wouldn’t buy anything else!
