Bought to make it easier than dragging a corded vacuum cleaner on stair cases etc. Read quite a few reviews first and have been genuinely impressed especially as there are quite a few annoying but cute hair shedding pets. Easy to get going, change heads and enough charge to do a mid size whole house with both carpets and wooden floors. Surprisingly powerful and for a mid range unit and not hugely bulky. Worth the money and bought directly of Shark so came with the free pet accessory.
I purchased my shark in march from a friend through very,I suffer with fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis and scholiosis so my old vacuum was heavy and cumbersome so thought my shark stick would be easier unfortunately I found it was top heavy the suction not good at all plus restricted to what you can pick up also battery life not that good,tried to get it returned with no luck,I don't know if it's just from a bad batch or just not that good I've had to go back to my old vacuum non branded cheaper model with better suction.Im so sorry it's such a bad review as I've wanted a shark for so long and really disappointed especially as so expensive!sorry such a late review only just found the site!
The Shark Cordless is easy to use, much lighter than our old upright and very versatile in its applications, particularly when the car needs cleaning but still surprisingly powerful. The low brush head is particularly useful for under furniture runs and when folded down after use takes up very little storage room. The only reason for not giving a five star rating is the long charging time, apart from that, it's a great piece of kit.
