Me and my son done a road trip and decided to see as many stadiums and there gift shops. This was our 2nd one the security card let us have a look at the pitch and hold the thropy which my son really enjoyed and the better service we got the more we spend in the gift shop landed up get aston villa kit with watkins printed on the back
Ok, so this is becoming a joke now. 3 weeks ago i placed an order of £200 for 3 villa shirts for me and my boys. The shirts still havent arrived, and there is absolutely no reason to justify why this has happened. with the start of the season in 2 days, i am now forced to go and buy the shirts from the shop (AGAIN), and hope that Villa do the right thing, and fully reimburse me. 3 weeks, when they are stocked up in every shop, for a season ticket holder of 20 years, is shocking loyalty and customer service.
I have updated my review from 1 to 3 stars as AV did act to ensure my shirt order was delivered prior to my husband’s birthday. What I would have liked is that they would update the customer with reason for the delay when it happens, and an estimated revised delivery date - not leave customers in the dark. Shirt delay - I have the same issue as Liam. Shirt ordered online for my husband’s birthday which is next week 14 August. All I’ve had is 2 emails saying there’s a delay _ no indication of an expected delivery date. I could have popped into JD Sports but ordered other things as well from the AV shop for his bday. Spent £165. Not good service at all.
Absolutely awful and upsetting experience to date.Ordered an item that was in stock (and still in stock) nearly 2 weeks ago.So far the following has happened; 1. Item still hasn’t arrived and was meant to be delivered today as a birthday present for my son. 2. Communication with the team is very poor - they genuinely don’t listen to customer feedback and just do their own thing.3. Refunded the postage to say sorry for late delivery (not an acceptable remedy nearly 2 weeks later).4. When trying to gain more information on the delivery and a remedy, they randomly cancelled the order without any notice or discussion. So the item isn’t coming at all now.5. Provided a 50% off voucher to say sorry, but it doesn’t work on the item I wanted to reorder. 6. Then sent a link for a reorder of the item, but was the wrong one! 7. Continue to ignore emails and provide a remedy and solution, when it the customer service team who have messed up and over complicated the process so far.
Could not give Vila less than 5 stars as my club but there was an issue. I live in Cyprus now and on a recent trip to the UK I took the opportunity to visit my beloved Villa Park. I bought a classic Villa top (Muller) and just put it on as I'm in Athens as was hoping we'd make yhr final. The security tag was not removed which is disappointing as I cannot take it back.
Really bad experience. My wife bought a t-shirt for me but it wasn't the same design she ordered. The standard returns procedure expects us to pay to post it back for their error. My wife was initially able to contact them but now a week later they seem to have stopped replying.EDIT: This was indeed resolved really quickly after I posted this, so thanks for this. Just a shame it isn't easier to resolve issues like this through the published channels.
