A great prepaid card

A very useful card to help manage finances for someone with dementia . It’s good to be able to see exactly what’s being spent and top up when necessary . Would be better if two cards could be issued on same account but so believe this is something being considered .

Relatively straight forward process…

Relatively straight forward process once the identity and security checks are cleared.I found the support service to be responsive and helpful . So far it’s working well and I am happy to recommend it to others .

One less thing to worry about!

Its really helped to make the unmanageable manageable. We use the card as a way to enable in person shopping only so there is always funds available for food or local shopping instead of all the funds being wiped out every night with random online shopping.Although already very capable I think there will be more and greater things to come from Sibstar, I'd like to see more granular control and more information about limits. I'd still 100% recommend even as the product stands thought.The most refreshing thing about Sibstar is that its operated by people who seem to understand the situation we are in and people who want to improve the product. For example, a recent issue was acknowledged, a workaround offered and then fixed. That shouldn't sound exceptional, but most companies go out of their way to deny any failing.

I saw Sibstar on Dragons Den and…

I saw Sibstar on Dragons Den and thought is was a good solation, I did ask the Bank if they could do anything similar which they cant , I would comment that along with many things the IT is a challenge, as many of us looking after elderly parents are not that young ourselves ? Sibstar did help with this with someone human on the end of the phone.Another challenge to be aware of is that when I tried to load the card from dads account the bank blocked it as they thought it was fraud, it took be a while to convince them otherwise .I have not received the card to use yet so watch this space

Reassuring to have this Specialist Support

My experience of initially opening a Sibstar account and then using the Sibstar card has been very positive. The Sibstar team have walked me through the various steps in setting up the account, including uploading the Power of Attorney via the government electronic code system. I was impressed how efficient that was. The card itself arrived within 10 days and while we have not yet fully used all of the features, it is reassuring to know that the card is available when it will be needed. Throughout the process I found the Sibstar team to be professional and helpful. A very positive experience to date,

Exceptional service and easy to use App

Opened an account for my Mum and the support to get the correct documents and open the account was exceptional. Thank you to everyone who helped me through the process. The App is easy to use and gives excellent added peace of mind. I would recommend to anyone.

Supporting independence in people with dementia.

The site is quite straightforward to use, though not being used to doing much on the Internet found it daunting. Wonderful guidance given on the phone by a real person, patient and understanding. Made a few mistakes setting the card up but easily sorted. My husband lost his card, clear and easy to follow instructions on freezing the card and what to do next.Definitely helps maintain his self esteem. Thank you Sibstar

Still really pleased with Sibstar

My experience with Sibstar continues to be great. The card is perfect for my husband and is really helping to maintain his independence. It is really easy to use and maintain and if I ever have any questions the people at Sibstar are so helpful and provide answers quickly. So glad we found out about this card.
