Peace of Mind

What a great product, I'd been looking for something like this for ages. After my mother had a stroke and lost some cognitive capacity, I was worried she could easily be taken advantage of. Card came quickly and the set up was seamless.

Easy to use, makes life simpler

Sign up process was smooth and the app is really easy to use even for a technophobe like me. Has helped a lot with the family situation. Thank you Sibstar!

So Much Easier

My mum had two forms of dementia. She was losing her bank card or locking it, regularly. Also forgetting how to use it altogether. Finally her bank advised that she should no longer have a card. The Sibstar card is now kept by her carer but managed by me. So very very much easier. Hooray.

Happy user

I was rather anxious when I decided to use Sibstar. I had read a negative review but also had a personal recommendation and I knew that I needed the features offered for my dear mother. With some friendly support we are up and running. Mum is happy and I’m able for maintain oversight of her spending without upsetting the old girl.

A good safety net for Dad

I was at my wit's end with cash endlessly going missing so decided to give this a go for my dad. So far so good. The team are keen to help and have guided me through a couple of bits when I didn't have the hang of things. Now all running smoothly, recommend for someone who needs a bit of a safety net

Terrible app and poor customer service.

Terrible app and poor customer service.First of all it took over a month to get signed up with their service. The mobile is so poor and buggy that I could not load any money for another 2 weeks.People who have dementia are forgetful - guess what they lose their card. Then you have to wait 7-10 days to get a new one. When the new one arrives the letter says click Activate in the app to activate the card. There's no activate button.Call support - The support line is just a voicemail box.Been using sibstar for about 10 months and nothing but hassle. If you are dealing with someone that has dementia it's like having another kids. This service looks like it was designed by kids so save yourself the hassle and use a different service.

Great service and very helpful

Customer service were helpful when I was struggling with the sign up. The app is handy and I can manage what my father spends but still allow him to have a physical bank card to use. Card took a little while to arrive but otherwise I don’t understand why something hadn’t been available sooner. I have recommended to another dear friend also fighting dementia problems with their mother.
