Excellent Service

Jasmin and the team were fantastic- guided me every step of the way, their continued support throughout has been excellent. Sibstar card has provided peace of mind for both family and elderly relative. It has been so easy to use on my phone- adjusting access as required and much easier to administer from a distance- just the one visit took care of admin - the photographic identification option was excellent solution for infirm persons. Anytime the app was out of service clear notification was given. - Excellent service and affordable price.

My son has Sibstar for all his daily spending.

We have been using Sibstar for my son, who is Autistic, non-verbal and has learning disabilities, for nearly 6 months now.Sibstar has made such a big difference to us both. Being able to control carers spending from my mobile gives me piece of mind. I can get a picture of his day by how the card is used and can top up when he needs me too. The support has been excellent, resolving issues with vendors very quickly.

I feel lucky to have found Sibstar

I feel lucky to have found Sibstar at the time when my mum was having issues with money and was in serious danger of being scammed. She can use the card and keep her independence whilst I can look on and keep her nice and safe - fraudsters have no way to access her bank details. It has certainly given me peace of mind.

** Beware - does not currently work at Post Office ATMs **

My mother, visited the ATM to withdraw money but was declined, leaving her without funds and feeling perplexed. Upon contacting Sibstar, it was revealed that Post Office ATMs are currently non-functional for Sibstar debit card withdrawals. Nevertheless, cash can still be withdrawn in person at numerous Post Office counters. The message mentions a potential change in this restriction without specifying a timeframe. Unfortunately, this situation is inconvenient for us, and it would have been preferable to receive this information upfront.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND SIBSTARFrom the first steps to setting up the Card for my elderly sister, who has learning difficulties, we have had amazing help and assistance whenever we have needed to ask. Jasmin - who was our main contact - could not have done more, and she dealt with all our queries with such patience and kindness. This was so reassuring, as being elderly and quite useless with all the technical stuff, made the process a lot less fraught! She was always available and very quick to respond every time, and was also happy to phone if necessary. She was Brilliant!!The Card will be an absolute Godsend to say the least.

Poor customer service

Today I was cut off after 13 minutes on phone. A couple of days ago I was able to speak and they admitted a failure to send an email request and said there was a misfunction of the app. But now they keep asking me to resend documents and failing to activate the account

I was looking for a card that my mum…

I was looking for a card that my mum with dementia could use to keep her independent as having money herself was causing a big problem for her and our family and wanted mum to feel she was in control still of her moneyI get a notification when mum has used her card and where,what time,and how muchWe give mum a set amount every day As we keep a close eye on mum's spending It's a fantastic card wish I knew about it before But mum has adapted to the card really well Can't thank sidstar enough especially jasmin for there support

This is a great company with a friendly and communicative team

This is a great company with a friendly team, I experienced good communication via email and over the phone. This card gave my Gran peace of mind knowing her money was safe and that I could help her to manage her money as power of attorney.I found the Sibstar app easy to use and has unique functions that I could not find with other bank cards at the time. Such as receiving notifications everytine my Gran spent using the card, instant updates on where, when and how much was being spent, quick and easy to top the card up with money and an option to freeze the card at the touch of a button if I had needed to. There is also an option to put a maximum cap of on spending each day and month and choose where the card can be used, for example online, cash points, shops.This card saved myself and my Mother a lot of stress knowing that Gran could carry on being independent spending her money as she wished without risk of using it in circumstances she would not have if she did not have dementia.I recommend this card as it made a difference in my Grans and my families lives.
