A truly miserable customer service…

A truly miserable customer service experience. I needed to exchange a pair of shoes for a different size, that's all. Could not locate the order in my account. After several back-and-forths with "customer service" who of course kept referring me back to the website, no one could do the exchange and they didn't know why. A half hour of wasted time and no joy. Will be donating the shoes and never shopping this broken website again.

I like the physical Sierra store a lot.2. if you live near one of the physical Sierra stores it is fully worth dealing with the website for when you can't find something in store that you happen to be able to find online -which is still random - sometimes tons of what u want sometimes cant find online but can find in store.3. the website is strangely slow trying to save items for later or delete something from my cart. it has interrupted my flow of making a purchase that moment numerous times.i.e. i see 1 item i for sure want to order now, with free or paid shipping depending on how hard it is to find & at a lower price point (than free to home) there is free shipping to store for pickup.I have 15 other items in my cart from browsing, and i want to save all but 1 for later.---option I love!:In store (and online) all receipts tied to an email address is THE BEST! Every TJX store should adopt that as a time saving measure for employees/checkout line, that also is simply stress relieving in simplicity/convenience.recently a brand of shoes I've liked for years but honestly hadn't actually owned yet (out of convenience), I saw in store and they didn't have my favorite model but they did have multiple colorways of a few styles and I noticed that depending on the colorway the size was different. maybe that's why they ended up at the store, maybe it's a regular annual overstock, I don't know. I did find one that I liked and I actually found one that made a squeaking noise when I walked around which the others didn't cuz I liked the styling of the one that squeaked better but I didn't want to risk being one of those people than in years past was a more common incident (rhythmic squeak)...I was able to get my dream shoe though ordered in a couple of versions and sizes because of what I noticed in store and in that case it worked out perfectly.so I highly recommend Sierra for people with the luxury of returning in store, and it is problematic and I had actually stopped buying from them with problems of getting "first quality "stuff that still had problems. and I'm not sure if it actually isn't labeled first quality by some of these stores cuz sometimes you'll see a note on manufacturer websites about one style of running a half size large or a full size small or whatever. but receipt is slow from their shipping and paid returns are not fun and drastically increase the cost and time turnaround.specifically for the website managers I'd really love it if they can make a save all for later button to clear my cart so I can buy the one thing that I really want without having to spend the heck of a lot of time to manage my browsing cart. cuz just about everywhere else I can quickly clear a cart so my habits of favoriting something instead of throwing them in my digital cart realistically is not going to change.

Flat Rate Shipping Unrealistic

As part of TJMaxx, Marshalls and HomeGoods, etc., they pay pennies on the dollar for their stock. It's offered at fair prices, but those prices have huge profit margins against what they paid for them. THEN to ship to you, the dimensional and weight-based shipping is ignored in favor of shipping with a further huge profit margin built in.I ordered a $13 dollar item the manufacturer says weights 3.8oz. and largest dimension is 4". Even including the weight of the box, this will be MAYBE 8oz at the outside. Their flat rate $10 shipping means that with their bulk logistical shipment discounts they'll pay MAYBE $4-$5 shipping.This is unethical and if I could have found the same product elsewhere I would have purchased it elsewhere. I will think 3x about further purchases online here, which is sad because I *love* the unique options at HomeGoods and hoped for a similar experience at Sierra.

You might think twice

I ordered a pair of taos sneakers to replace an identical pair The ones received must have been seconds as the right shoe was ill fitting and I essentially paid $20 to try them onI requested not to be charged return postage but it was chargedAlso, they advertise being under the umbrella of tj maxx so you may assume you can make returns there but you cannot Otherwise they did have prompt communication and shipping

WARNINGDO NOT use ! I returned an item they are saying they haven’t got it and refusing a refund this has been going on for a month ! So technically they’ve stolen money from me.When I wrote on their instagram warning other people they blocked my account immediately! They then blocked my sisters ! Absolute SCAM never known anything like it !

THE UGLIEST SHIRT

I’ve received a gift from this site. It was supposed to be a cute lace shirt with ballon sleeves but instead I received the ugliest shirt I’ve ever seen. The quality was orribile, shein has greater quality! It’s a shame, because the photos on the site were completely different! I hope this site will shut down soon.

it was one of my favourite stores until it was acquired by TJMAX. their support was perfect. you could address them as your own relatives. now the assortment has become very small, prices have become higher.

Horrible experience

Horrible experience! First of all the ordered arrived after one month a half, after a very long wait I was super disappointed in the quality, Size doesn’t correspond at all; is Chinese sizes and the they don’t mention anywhere this website is from China; the clothes don’t have any logo with sierra Darien so most like is some cheap copy of a brand; now a big problem is also the return policy; they don’t send someone to collect the stuff; they want you to find a courier; to send them an email in advance and then they will tell you an address etc; very complicated process most likely they will not return any money to you. Stay away from this website!!!

I found a great coat at Sierra.com…

I recently found a coat that was 160 bucks on the manufacturer website and just $39.95 on Sierra. com. I was cautious because I had never purchased from this site but there were reviews online and I took a chance. I placed my order and received an email right away. Later I received the update for shipping and after about a week I received my order. It was exactly what I ordered. The coat is amazing. It was from Freecountry, reversible and inside is entirely Sherpa, inside sleeves and all. Which is hard to find. I was pleased with my purchase and the correspondence from Sierra trading post. I have nothing bad to report. Site was easy to navigate and checkout was just as easy.

worst online shopping experience ever

placed an online order on monday nothing sent in one week. called and they said that it would ship out and then the order was cancelled instead of getting me my item. this is a stay away from online shopping experience. if you choose ground shipping it could take over 20 days to get to you. 20 days!used to be the best shopping experience around now its a 50-50 if you're even going to get the item.
