A few years back Sierra was a great place to get cool stuff at bargain prices. Even the stores had a good selection of deals. But since Covid, the prices are too high, the stuff is junk that nobody really wants, and they never have anything in my size. So sad
Almost 99% of the products I bought from Sierra to sell on Amazon were returned. How is this even possible? Customers stated that each product was defective. How can there be similar complaints for dozens of products? How can they continue to operate in a countrMy account was suspended due to these returns, but do the irresponsible owners of Sierra ever consider this? It’s unacceptable to have a store like this selling low-quality products in the U.S.—such a store wouldn’t even exist in the smallest village in Africa. The world’s number one country, America, is being discredited by the irresponsible owners of businesses like Sierra. These businesses tarnish the country’s prestige by selling such low-quality products just to earn a few extra dollars. These businesses offer products that don’t even meet Africa’s standards and deceive American consumers with goods of unknown origin.
I've ordered from Sierra quite a few times. I always get free shipping because I order a decent amount of stuff. I've had a few issues with them sending the wrong item or with dirty items (white socks in that case), but every issue I've had, I've emailed customer service, simply requested that shipping back not be covered by me since it was their mistake, and got a refund without any questions asked. That's excellent customer service! We're all human, people make mistakes, but I appreciate the positive response to those mistakes.
Sooooo disappointed! My order arrived Saturday but box was broken and two items (sandals and hiking socks) disappeared through the broken corner. Someone (UPS?) had tried taping it together. Today I called Sierra. They no longer have those items in stock, so they’re giving refund! I don’t want refund! I want my items. Someone in shipping department needs to be trained. Now I’m afraid to order from them ever again👎
I have been a loyal customer of Sierra Trading Post since 2006, spending thousands of dollars on their products. I rarely have to return items because I know my sizes well, and most of the time, the fit is perfect for me. However, my recent purchase of hiking pants and shoes was a complete disaster. Despite my weight remaining the same, neither the shoes nor the pants fit me at all. I requested a return, sent the items back with the provided label, only to discover that I never received a refund. The lack of concern for my loyalty and the years I have spent with them is appalling. I asked for a credit to use on future purchases, but they refused to provide one. The customer service was unhelpful, with no option to escalate my complaint to a higher-ranking representative. The whole experience was cold and rude. I will be taking my business elsewhere, and I strongly advise others to do the same
Our household has been Sierra Trading Post customers for 30 years and have been generally satisfied until this past year or so.Order processing and shipping times have become absurd and unacceptable,their returns process laborious.Moreover, we have ordered more than one item now which has not been as pictured or described on their website. Frankly, it now feels less like an error and more like a bait and switch tactic.The return of such an item should be easy and hassle free for the customer, right ?Wrong, at least according to Sierra.A return shipping fee will be charged for the return of a product due to their error/deception.Also absurd and unacceptable.For the latest example, every review of the item we purchased is exactly the same- customers stating that it is not as described or pictured.Having been customers for so many years, we do understand that the items we purchase are either close outs or irregulars; we have generally had no issues with that for three decades.What we do have a problem with is being deceived by Sierra who takes no responsibility for their actions.As such, I can no longer state, in good faith, that this company is trustworthy or values their customers.
Ordered boots from Sierra Trading Post, and my order was confirmed. The next day I received an email stating that my order had been cancelled, without any explanation. They had already deducted funds from my account. I went online and the same item was still available. I have ordered from them before without any problems. This will be the last order!!! Spoke with customer service today and was told the item was canceled because the billing address didn’t match the card, but the funds were deducted from my account. Checked my bank and there is no issue with billing address. Be aware of this company!!!!!!
Ordered a few items 3 out of the 6 had holes, large holes that had been restitched. They are factory seconds but the description reads SMALL blemishes. These are not small blemishes. Very disappointed. These items are garbage or free, not sellable. I have ordered factory seconds before from another retailer and they were not of this quality. Don’t buy from Sierra.
