If i could give 0 stars i would, they never gave us the information we needed to send the shipment,

If i could give 0 stars i would, they never gave us the information we needed to send the shipment, after the goods was collected, packed and stored, we finally got the information we needed witch made the whole sending impossible. So they charged me 40000nok, so i see them as a scam, they trick you into relying on them and they dont give information what you need, they stall time, and then screw you over. Thanks for nothing, thanks for giving me all the blame for not getting the information, give me the whole bill because you guys are useless, i recommend noone to use this company, they wont move shit. They will take your money.

Wish i could have give zero stars

Wish i could have give zero stars. Pathetic and unprofessional services, never use them. They will use every opportunity to commercialize and make money. My shipment from UAE to Europe was picked up 5 months still not yet delivered. Shame on the Sirva.

If I could give zero stars (North America Van Lines and Sirva)

If I could give zero stars, I would.I hired North American Van Lines, which uses SIRVA to handle claims. What followed was one of the worst customer experiences I’ve ever had. After my move, two beds were disassembled and left unusable. I reported the damage properly and on time. For months, I dealt with endless emails, no phone calls, no repair coordination, and no resolution. The claims representative handling my case left the company, my claim was effectively abandoned, and I was later told I was “in disagreement with a settlement offer” a settlement that was never communicated to me in any form. The entire process felt designed to delay, deflect, and exhaust the customer rather than fix the problem.Neither SIRVA nor North American Van Lines should be trusted with anyone’s belongings or claims.I would never hire either of these companies again.

To avoid

If it were only for the poor service, it could be accettable. During a difficult moment like a move, Sirva creates additional issues and mismanagement. Avod them.

NA Van Lines/Sirva refuse to pay for damaged antiques.

I used North American Van Lines for moving furniture from our family home of 40 years in Atlanta to my sons, one in California and one in Texas. There was quite a bit of furniture much of which was family heirlooms and valuable antiques. The salesman was very good. The rest of it was a disaster. Loading was rushed, workers were surly and careless. The load for Dallas was put into their storage facility. The load to California went straight out. Both loads suffered damage, the Dallas damage was significant. I paid for additional insurance because of the valuable antiques in the moves, particularly to Dallas. The few damaged items in California were repaired and handled well. The company refused to take responsibility for the damage to much of the antique furniture and artwork. They reimbursed us for probably one quarter of the damage they did. We appealed their decisions repeatedly but every time they said it was not their fault. I would never recommend using this company to anyone unless you were shipping indestructible items.

If I could give less than 1 star I…

If I could give less than 1 star I would. This company - the office in OakbrookTerrace IL to be specific -- is worst I’ve dealt with in 27 years of global moves. The agent in charge of our portfolio seems to be working fromHome and running a side real estate business. Had no idea about our shipment and had to call her supervisor. Then it took a week for this supervisor to basically say they lacked paperwork - which was untrue - they had it all sent to them weeks prior. It’s been awful. Unresponsive, dropping of balls - and failure to answer phone calls or to answer any questions aside from sending a reply to detailed questions asked in voicemail and email- saying “ we will expedite” and failing to answer any questions about what they are in charge of sending to us as part of a move with multiple shipments and 2 destinations. . UnfortunatelyI did not choose them and will let our experience be known to the European based employer arranged contractor.

Avoid this company at all costs.

Avoid this company at all costs. We moved from Canada to Belgium with SIRVA, and the whole experience was terrible. The container was half empty despite their claim that our things wouldn’t fit, packing was careless — fragile items mixed with tools, and many things arrived broken or missing. Communication was poor, delivery was delayed by weeks, and insurance covered almost nothing. The only good part was the unloading team in Belgium, who worked fast and professionally.

Disappointing Relocation Experience – Poor Service and No Accountability

I used SIRVA for an international corporate relocation (Belgium to Germany), and unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations. From the start, key services were poorly handled:The accommodation they arranged was unsuitable, and there was no support with resolving the contract when issues arose. No guidance was provided for setting up essential services like banking, statutory health insurance, or language school—despite these being part of the package. Most frustratingly, several personal items were missing from my shipment, and because their team did not unpack or validate the delivery, I couldn’t document the loss at the time. Even though I reported it they refused any responsibility, citing the absence of written exceptions during delivery—something they made impossible to do.Their communication was slow and defensive throughout, and once they decided to close the claim, there was zero willingness to acknowledge service gaps or help resolve ongoing issues.Overall, this felt like a "tick-the-box" relocation service with minimal follow-through or care. If you're looking for a relocation partner that actually supports your transition and stands behind their process—look elsewhere.I have luckily been able to escalate the situation in my company and hopefully we will find a better partner to take care of our teams.

SIRVA - International Relocation

SIRVA - an appalling service. They don’t listen. Out source to all sorts of contractors and have absolutely no control. They set a date for us to receive our belongings (which were arriving in another country) then tried to change it at the last minute. Our wooden furniture arrived damaged and almost every box was severely damaged or disfigured. There was absolutely no care or concern for belongs at all. A heart breaking experience. I would never recommend you use them.
