Absolutely unethical company. I cancelled the pro subscription right away and have the confirmation email that it was cancelled but the company continued to charge $16 monthly. They are refusing to provide a refund and I now have to dispute the reoccurring charges through my credit card company.Also many pdf sites offer the same services free of charge.
I recently encountered a problem with a subscription that was being charged annually. When I logged in to investigate, I found no records of a subscription under my account.I contacted Small PDF's customer support for help. They responded promptly and confirmed that my subscription was associated with a company email address, not my personal email address, and that this company email address had been deactivated after I left the company. Additionally, they found that the company email address contained a misspelling, which might have caused the confusion.After explaining the situation, the customer support team immediately took action. They canceled the subscription linked to the deactivated company email address and transferred the paid service to my personal email address. Not only was I able to successfully cancel the unwanted subscription, but I also retained access to the service on my personal account for the duration I had already paid for.I was impressed with the swift response and resolution from Small PDF's customer support team. The tools offered by Smallpdf are very useful, at a fraction of the cost of other platforms.Customer Support also was great. My issue was bureaucratic in nature and I received reply and a solution in one hour, better that can be said of ANY customer support I've ever interacted with.
I got a bit worried that I had 'acidentially' signed up for a free trial that would in time turn into a paid for subscription and I found the information on the account I had created a little contradicotry. But when I raised a ticket their support were super quick and very helpful and managed to clear things up for me.
