Rodgers 11177. From deciding to purchase windows to installation all was excellent from keeping us informed about the progress of our order to when the fitters would arrive. The fitting team were brilliant they certainly knew what they were doing, it didn't take long and they cleared up after their selves, well done guys. The finish of the windows was first class and the quality was the best we have seen. Would recommend solar frame after our experience of dealing with them.
We were very happy with the service we recieved from Solarframe from start to finish.I requested a quote from the company and had an instant response.Within a couple of day the surveyor called measured up and set the ball rolling. We was then designated our coordinator Kat to assist us through the process of setting up times for installation and payments.The doors were origionally fitted by Adam and Connor who were very professional and hard working, they left no mess and were very polite.Unfortunately we had a couple of teething problems with the angle of the door so Andy and Carl then came to our rescue rectifying the problem instantly.Overall we have no complaints at all , everyone was so helpful and polite and would definitely use solarframe again.
a good experience first time but not the second time for an external door fitting. We chose solarframe the second time for our new front door as the back door we had fitted was very happy with.Workmen took 3 hours to do a sub standard job and i wasn't happy with the fit There were multiple problems with the fitting and the lock on the door was really stiff and was nearly breaking the key trying to unlock the door, we only found this after fitters left as I only tried the locking the door from inside before they went which was ok.The sill was damaged too and the silicone sealant work was a mess. Kat in the office was very helpful in arranging for an engineer to come out, who after he finished couldn't do all the amendments that needed doing and he was moaning about being late to his next customer. Then they booked in another engineer who managed to put things right, including adding foam insulation between the gap under the trims as the original fitters didn't bother putting this in. It took quite a few weeks and then i was chased up for the rest of the money we owed the same day it was sorted.One great experience to a bad one, I personally wouldn't use solarframe again after this fitting but it all depends on the fitters too. We went with them and paid more to get a job well done, getting things sorted though was ok but it should have been OK the first time.
The schedule was maintained throughout so we knew exactly what work to expect and when. All work men were courteous. All work was completed to a great standard with minimal upheaval. We were especially happy with the brick work and attention to detail.
SolarFrame were efficient, professional, good communicators and kept to all the times and work schedules as planned and agree with me. This applies to the salesman, office staff, project managers, technical staff and the fitters. The follow up service, clearing payment and ensuring documents and FENSA certificates were issued promptly. All SolarFrame employees were always polite, punctual, respectful of my home and clean tidy workers - who got on with the job and went beyond scheduled work to help a pensioner get back to normal as quickly as possible. When a miscommunication resulted in one window's openers being incorrect they resolved the issue over the phone, remade the frame and fitted it at no extra cost to me - NB: I would advise buyers to double check the technical drawings made and ask precise questions about what is meant in order to avoid erroneous assumptions and misunderstandings between purchaser and provider. Technical advice also gave me some valid insight into my order and resulted in me adjusting the order because the advice made complete sense. They were not the cheapest quote I received but I do feel the quality of service was value for money.
