Villa was absolutely perfect, with everything required for a brilliant holiday. Only a couple of criticisms we arrived at the villa to check in at 16.00 as specified to find the cleaners were still there so we had to sit outside for a further 45 mins before we could get settled. The gardeners also turned up mid holiday and started working on the garden?? and at one point started using some very noisy equipment whilst my 1 year old grandson was having his nap so we had to ask him to stop but it would have been very intrusive while we were all sitting round the pool and eating lunch even if my grandson hadn't been asleep.
The villa was very basic. The sofa’s were very low and hard (especially for disabled people). There was a bad storm and the mess round the villa was really bad. No one came to clean up. We had to personally purchase a pool net to clean the pool; retrieve parasols and pushchairs from the pool. The kitchen window leaked really bad during this storm. The kitchen was actually flooded to mid calf height.Maids came in mid week to change towels. You couldn’t use the washing machine, due to where it was situated in a cupboard. You couldn’t load or use the drawer of the washer. There was no clothes line (or sort) to hang towels etc!A stair gate & child gate was provided.A burning smell came from the oven when in use.
After a previous poor stay booked through Solmar I was reluctant to give them another go. I left it 2 years and booked Villa Adaris as a group of 8. Right from opening the front door I knew I had made the right decision. The Villa was beautifully clean, smelt good and the rooms were clean and spacious. There was plenty of room for us all. Beach towels and a sea view were very welcome. There was everything provided that we needed, except for a pair of scissors in the kitchen, but that was a minor thing. I did have to phone Solmar one morning as the kettle stopped working. They were excellent and a chap turned up with a new one. Out of the 8 of us not one had any complaints whatsoever. We had a brilliant holiday made all the better by the beautiful villa.
Back in August I visit the island of Rhodes and we stayed for the time in a villa, and let me tell you how amazing that was. The villa was Massari Hills 9, situated in a lovely and very well maintained luxury resort, the villa itself was so good in every senses, very spacious, extremely clean, all facilities provided so you have that feeling: This is home away from home. The villa had 3 bedrooms ( 2 in the upper floor and 1 in the ground floor) all en-suites so it means everyone had their own privacy, the living area was so beautiful and very open, the kitchen is open plan which is so nice as when you are on holiday you just want easiness. The outdoor area and pool I have no words, so luxe and extremely well looked after. My son was in his element for having the pool all for himself and had his own bedroom which he was truly made up by. I must mention that a car is highly recommended as the name of the villa is self-explanatory since the villa is located on top of the Hills in Massari area, so please make sure you hire a car. Location is amazing, beach only 5 minutes driving from the villa. The resort itself is so complete, you have a play/gym area and the villas are very private as all detached villas and no much overlooking, the staff there were so amazing and not to mention the Solmar Villas staff, they were unreal. Very supportive and checked on us, made us a full itinerary on places to go and visit from top to bottom and side to side of the whole island I mean I cannot say more how pleased me and my family was with the service that we received. Outstanding customer service from confirming our booking to leaving the place, just an very wholesome experience in everyway. I will one hundred percent not only recommend but use Solmar Villas again and again, we are already looking into our next destination with them for next year. Thank you Solmar Villas for a lovely holiday and the lovely memories we made.
Our villa in Minnie’s Kefalonia was amazing inside and outside. The pool was amazing. We had a party of 6 with a toddler. Our information booklet was fantastic. Our villa when we arrived had complementary fruit teas water milk and coffee which was a lovely touch. It was a fantastic holiday.
Booking with Solmar Villas was very easy and trouble free, they have a good website and its very intuitive and we have done two previous trips with Solmar.Villa Caripira is a real gem and we were delighted with it. We visited in August 2025 and we were a group of 7 including two boys of 10 & 7, so we needed and used four bedrooms. Everyone was delighted with every aspect of the Villa. In short it is very large and each bedroom has en suite shower and wc etc and also huge amounts of storage and wardrobe space. The villa is modern, clean and classy and has everything you might need. The kitchen is very well equipped and the outside areas including the pool and sun loungers were excellent. At the rear of the property there is a golf net and driving range which is amazing if you want to practice your golf swing or use it as a football goal net as did my young grandsons! On top of all this the Villa has a lovely quiet garden that is peaceful and includes a lovely area where you can sit quietly or use the pizza oven to have an alternative dining area. There is also, along one edge of the garden, a large number of solar panels that generate and store electric power. This set up caused us some puzzlement at one time as half the power went off in the Villa for a period of time and we couldn't understand what had occurred. We then discovered that the whole area had suffered a power outage and the Villa supply kicked in and kept half of the Villa going, a really good benefit.Villa Caripira is in a quiet residential area so walking to the beach is not practical but plenty of taxis around and there is bars, restaurants and a good shop not far away. We shall hopefully return to Villa Caripira at some time in the future.
Villa silver Sky 2 in Kastela Croatia. We had a most enjoyable holiday in this beautiful modern villa. Exceptional hosts who exceeded our expectations! Villa is well placed for local restaurants and beaches. We would recommend this large villa to any group of holidaymakers.
The villa is tired and rather dated. No decent showers. Kitchens were badly equipped, for example, there were no shelves in the upstairs kitchen oven! I looked everywhere for them. The AC didn't work properly in the downstairs double bedroom and there was only one remote control for this room, which had to be shared with the upstairs double bedroom. The sink in the downstairs bathroom was blocked. A couple of chairs weren't useable due to being partially broken. The list went on. This is unacceptable and shows poor maintenance. As we were only there for a week, we didn't want people coming around to do maintenance jobs, as was offered. I asked Solmar Villas for compensation but this has not been acknowledged. Consequently, I find them to be an untrustworthy company and won't use them again.
