AVOID AVOID AVOID

My car got stolen over 2 months ago and they are incredibly slow at processing my claim. I have had to chase them repeatedly to even look at my claim and therefore do their job for them. I have still been paying for a service I haven’t been able to use thanks to their incompetence.Totally unacceptable and outrageous!

Wish I could give 0 stars I don't know how this company has a 3* rating there the worst insurance company iv ever had to deal with nearly 4 months after there customer crashed into the back of me and they haven't admitted liability absolute set of useless scamming scumbags I will take you to court and sue you for purposely doing absolutely nothing to sort out my claim everyday the cost is incurring I have physio for my injuries a hire car and you will foot the bill totally as your 100% liable for this accident u don't have a leg to stand on and I'm gonna launch legal proceedings

AVOID Somerset Bridge Insurance

To be quite honest , I'd give them a MINUS 5* .Though I wouldn't give them the muck off of my shoe .The saga been going on for 12 weeks . With no resolution in sight .Being polite as I can be for the ABYSMAL treatment they have given my daughter , since a n other female driver hit her car , trying to jump into a non existent gap on the main road my daughter was driving in a flow of traffic , the woman tried to force her way in from a side road .This company has made every effort to avoid any resolution on repairing her car and gone to depths of overpricing the repair costs , trying to say it's damaged beyond repair although their own assessor said it was a joke and would repair relatively easy and at less than half these clowns claim , the minute dent and scuff and crack on the edge of the bumper , saying it was a £6,000 repair so even though the car is almost like new they want to write it off and the remaining finance would suck it all up .Avoid these people at all costs .

This company use false engineer reports!

3rd party admitted to crashing into my van in a car park. We exchanged details. Long story short, engineers claimed my vehicle had chassis damage when it did not, it was cosmetic only and categorised it as an S rather than N. I questioned this mistake as there was only some dents and scuffs. Engineer agreed they made a mistake. Passed details onto Somerset Bridge and they have point blank refused fo engage with Vizion and Nova, the engineers and garage who assessed my van. By saying there is damage when there is not, it not only increases 3rd party premiums and is unfair treatment to customer, it is fraud. 3rd party has made a complaint which still remains unresolved even with chasing emails. My van still remains damaged as SB will not change the report to the honest one. Disgusting treatment for both myself and the 3rd party customer. We are taking this to the financial ombudsman as this insurance company are awful. Accident occurred June 2025 and we're now in October. I still haven't recieved a correct category or a pay out when I'm entitled to "cash in lieu" for a category N that I am legally entitled to ask for. Staff ignore emails, don't solve problems and use incorrect documents to base their claims on. Their reply will be a fob off copy and pasted reply so be warned. I think I'll go to the newspapers and share my story because this can't be happening to just me. It needs to be solved asap. The 3rd party and myself aren't happy. Still ongoing!

I leave here the claim reference number: SBL/LV/MR828414Every one have to avoid the Somerset Bridge insurance. Before proceeding with this insurance company read the feedbacks. They will not pay out any claim, that's why they are cheaper. Avoid the Somerset Bridge insurance! If you not avoid later you will regret. I just complained to the ombudsman!Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!
