3rd party but can't receive payout payment due to account details required. Can't speak to an accounts member and Customer Service can't tell you what information is required. Now left in limbo. Appalling service from the very start. I've always had to make contact in regards to this claim. I need this sorted immediately so the car can be collected!!!
Would avoid using this company even if they were the last on the planet. I was due a sizable refund from the insurance company but Go Skippy have refused to release this and are going to retain the refund. After spending over 3 hours on the phone to various people, all based in South Africa, without any resolution am now left with no option but to pursue this via the FOS.
I was helped by Milli who answered all my questions and settled my anxiety when dealing with insurance. I have never had to contact an insurance for a claim, so was unsure of the processes, but Milli explained everything very clearly and made sure I was completely clear on the next steps!
I’ve had a genuinely frustrating experience with Somerset Bridge Insurance, and unfortunately, it’s still not resolved. From the start of my claim, it felt like they were adding on extra requirements and charges that I’m not even legally obliged to deal with. Communication has been slow, and it honestly feels like they’re making the whole process harder than it needs to be. I’m still waiting for a fair resolution, and I hope they improve, but right now I can’t say I’m satisfied at all.”
