What a let down! This place was rated 4.5 stars.WRONG! I don’t see how. There’s a coffee maker in the room but you have to the pods…$30 for 2. Nickel & diming us at every turn. Nothing, zero is provided. Charge to check in one hour early. This place is a dump & it makes me mad to be taken advantage of. Shame on Southwest, Shame on Caesar’s for being affiliated with this place.

Our disappointment at the Hilton at Resorts World via Southwest Vacation Package (January 1st-7th 2026)The store clerk named Wing inside the (Sundries) Hilton at Resorts World was very confrontational and hostile with me and her behavior was unprofessional, and even more she was very disrespectful and insubordinate to her supervisor Cherie, who told her several times to leave the area because of her erratic behavior, and then clerk Wing replied No! she is not going anywhere.Manager Cherie had to summons another employee to escort her from the area.Manager Cherie did graciously refund me for the drinks I just bought a few moments earlier.I then begin to proceed to the Hilton at Resorts World front desk to explain my dismay for the store clerk Wing’s behavior. And the front desk manager literally told me that she has no control over that situation because the store is not a Hilton at Resorts World store even though it is directly connected to the registration area and representing the Hilton at Resorts World Hotel. The front desk manager said she would let the store manager know of the incident, then I explained to her that I already talked with the store manager and she was not able to control her erratic employee named Wing.So the front desk manager said she would make mention of it to the general manager so I just left. There are no microwaves at all in the entire Hilton at Resorts World for customers to use, so don’t expect to save your expensive meal for later unless you like to eat cold food. There is major confusion for customers about which stores inside the Hilton at Resorts World accepts the beverage credit that is offered. There is a list that is provided at check-in but with the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas it's easy to lose count. So it is incumbent upon you to ask each store you enter because they will charge your food order to your room but the beverage credit will not apply as you might assume. We were made aware that there have been many complaints about this before us and there will be many more after us if the Hilton at Resorts World doesn’t do a better job of informing customers about this issue. The price you see on Southwest Vacations did not include the mandatory resort fee, we had to pay $55.00 Resort Fee Per Day for Hilton at Resorts World. Plus 13.38% ($7.36) Resort Fee Tax Per Day $55.00 + $7.36 = $62.36 Per Day at Check-outPlus $21.00 a day for self parking. So please learn from our mistakes and do your homework.Overall the Hilton at Resorts World was a nice clean place to stay and a good location on the Las Vegas Strip. Southwest Vacation Package airline flights and rent a car went nicely with no problems at all.
Southwest vacations advertises that their packages include 2 baggage fly at no cost. why did they charge men $156.00 to include 2 checked bags each way. My hotel, The Sheraton coconut Grove in Kauai stole my Tag Huer wrist watch from my room(about $2,000) Reported to house keeping and manager. Received a diplomatic bull shit tap dance. Nice job Southwest, never again.
I initially called the number to confirm that transportation was available from the airport to the resort (50min) and was reassured. Once booked we were contacted by the resort to confirm our reservation and ask if we needed transportation as iti isnt provided by booking third party. We were then quoted a 200 one way for transport and call the southwest number again. They confirmed there was no transfer and the price. However after 3 people and hours on the phone we were told a travel credit, for the total amount, would be awarded if we wanted to cancel but no other form of compensation, as we needed to book direct hotel to get the transport. They said they supervisors "dont get on the phone" and to submit a form to loyalty for consideration. In the form they admitted responsibility for misinforming us but wouldnt be doing anything for it. Once i responded to southwest they told me they dont deal with or override anything the getaways does. So long story short unless you want a useless credit that doesnt even work towards flights alone, avoid GETAWAYS at all cost and just book separately and direct.
I went online to Southwest Getaways and booked a Las Vegas vacation package for airfare and hotel. Once I got thru the process and paid at checkout, the website gave me a trip confirmation number, and then threw an error message stating part of my vacation did not book. They charged my credit card right away. I immediately called SW, the agent told me he didn't know what happened but would cancel that trip and try to book it manually over the phone. Guess what, the Agent booked it manually and another error! Now I have been charged for 2 Las Vegas vacations with no actual trip booked! I have over $3000 on my credit card and have been trying to get a refund for these charges from them for two weeks now and they tell me it could take upwards for 30 days!! Real good scam they got going. They charge you and don't provide a vacation and then get to earn the interest for a month off the money they charged you! I will be contacting the Attorney General to complain about this scam! Never again and I will make sure everyone I know never books with them.
I wanted to get extra points, so I used Southwest Hotels to book an overnight. They messed up the room reservation (I ordered a two-bed and they gave us a one-bed; hotel couldn't accommodate the change). Though they admitted fault, they only offered a partial refund of $50. But they said a "dedicated team" by Hyperwallet would be in touch to give a credit... It's been two months, and despite numerous phone calls and emails, we still haven't received anything. I'm BEYOND frustrated, and will never use this service again.
Buyer beware: Real reviewI will start by saying this is the first time I have used Southwest Vacations. I always book my own. We stayed in multiple RIU resorts over the last 8 years. We most recently stayed at RIU Palace Peninsula for the second time. We had a group with 3 rooms booked. My room was to have connected 2 bedroom jr. suite with sea view. My mom 1 junior suite with sea view and our friend jr suite with sea view. We arrive and the hotel is over booked. There are no connected rooms available. They put us in 2 separate Jr suite with sea view. While the rooms are right next to each other they aren’t connected. Told to check the next day so they can move us. Guess what it wasn’t available then either. Would you place your young kids in a their own room in Mexico? Another country? Of course you wouldn’t. So, me and my wife got to sleep in separate rooms so we can make sure our children are safe. We book connected because we like to have “alone time” but can keep the door between where we know where our children are and can hear in the room. My mom got the correct Jr. Suite with Sea view with king bed. The other couple should have had the same but they didn’t have one and was placed in a junior suite with balcony with 2 beds. When we asked they said they can just swap rooms. My mom agreed to swap since she didn’t need a king by herself. They didn’t swap it in the system just told them to trade key cards. So I file a complaint after returning home and was told I received the contracted reservation as I had 2 jr. suite with sea view. They also said for the mess ups they offered everyone in our party a free massage. That never happened. The spa was never mentioned. They are full of it.Southwest says it’s the resort and the resort says I paid Southwest. There is not refund or credit offered. Do not use Southwest to book your trips.
DO NOT book through Southwest Vacations!! I should have checked TrustPilot first instead of trusting just because of the Southwest name. After 31 years of flying Southwest almost exclusively, I'm incredibly disappointed by my recent experience. It turns out the cost paid through Southwest Vacations is significantly more than if I'd gone directly to the hotel's website. After an hour and a half on the phone, the best they would offer was an entire vacation package cancelation which will cause me to lose my original flights and give me credit for another vacation package, leaving me to still have to go through a system where they are hiking rates. On calling Southwest Airlines, the rep said only Customer Support (through email) could help. The response from Customer Support sounded like it was from a chat bot and referred me to a list Rapid Rewards Partners for points. Every contact point is a dead end.
Do not book anything through Southwest vacations! Run! Awful refund policy. I got Covid after booking a trip for my mother and I. It took me an hour on the phone to try to get any resolution only for them to tell me that I won’t get a refund they will put it in two different credits. The airlines is good for lifetime but the hotel reservation package I have to use in a year or it is lost. When I went to book my next trip through my credits it wouldn’t let me do it online it said for airline credit I have to call customer service, you will have long wait time on the phone ,hard to understand who you’re talking to and I was told that I had to take my mom on the trip and not my husband since I originally booked it my name her name even though it was under my credit card and I’m the one who paid for it. I asked to speak to a supervisor /manager he told me they would just tell me the same thing. He then told me it’s Southwest Airlines policy not theirs and I could call the airline but when I ask if the airline would do anything about it he said no and I said then why are you asking me to waste my time and call them. Awful customer service, awful policies. Do not use this company.
