I had Cataract surgery at SpaMedica Birmingham. Excellent staff and facilities. Both my pre-op and surgery visits went well. Staff explained everything. Surgery was painless, quick and simple. After care explained very well. Vision was clear in less than 24 hrs. Remarkable.
I had my first eye done on Friday 5th December, and from start to finish the staff and surgeon explained every stage clearly and put me at ease. I am amazed at the difference and will be pleased to get the other eye done as soon as they book me in after the New Year. Thank you so much to all the Team at SpaMedica.
Just had my second cataract operation and everything went as smooth as my first operation at Birmingham. Staff are very friendly and helpful I had the same surgeon again and I am annoyed I did not get his name he looks younger than he is😂As a business man I always look for services supplied to be as good as I would do and I was not let down could not recommend any higher Paul Loynes
Excellent service could not be faulted. Quick appointment following referral very clear diagnosis and patient information throughout. Operation quick and totally painless only took approx 10 mins. Very clear instructions for aftercare. Friendly but proffessional care from all staff a real pleasure to experience excellent service from start to finish
The usual 2 hour wait in the drivers waiting room at Sayer Common Spa Medical with no WiFi and one bar telephone reception. Free WiFi should be provided as a matter of course. Also leaving in the dark an heavy rain as the outside lighting is very poor.
From the pre op appointment to the cataract surgery appointment every single member of staff have been so friendly and helpful.. it's such a beautiful clean and calm place.. gives you total confidence and I would highly recommend Spamedica Chelmsford
Both the pre-op and cataract surgery appointments were on time, very efficiently organised and there was plenty of time for me to voice questions and concerns. All staff were friendly and courteous. I would recommend SpaMedica to anyone contemplating cataract surgery.
My name is Wendy Payne , I had my caterach surgery on Wednesday morning 3rd dec 2025 , what a wonderful experience from start to finish. The nursing and reception staff were exemplary and the surgeon put me at ease helping me through my position I was able to lie down . He explained what he was doing throughout the operation . I cannot thank you enough for the care I received . I certainly won’t worry about having my other eye done ,in fact the sooner the better .again thank you so much.
