I have had both my eye cataract surgery at sparmedica in Birmingham from start to finish I would highly recommend any one to have there eye surgery done at Birmingham thay look after you thay are very kind and always put them selfs out to make sure you are ok thay offer tea coffee x biscuits and for the transport I would highly recommend that the driver is very kind and he makes sure your helped on and off the minibus I would like to thank all the staff at sparmedica in Birmingham for looking after me on both visits
Spa Medica Poole are great- I have just had cataract surgery for both eyes in less than 6 weeks from referral from my optometrist . The team there are so professional, no waiting around, everything was explained as we went along in a friendly efficient way.I cannot speak too highly of them.
I was quite worried going in for my cataract operation, but as soon as I was called in for my turn, they put the drops in my eye for anesthetic and waited for my turn in the little waiting room, when It was my turn, the Dr's was very friendly as was all the staff there, I layed on the operating table and was prepped, I did not feel a thing, I don't know what the worry was all about, now I know that, I am looking forward to having the other eye done... SpaMedica Bedford. What an amazing place for treatment. Would certainly recommend to others. Had my cataract surgery 13th Nov 2025. Only one downside to latest experience. The nurse that took us through to waiting room was very cold and unfriendly. She was also quite rough when administering the tablet under eyeelid. It was painful where she pinched the skin leaving a small abrasion. On speaking to another patient she had exactly the same experience. Very disappointing when you really need reassurance at times like this.
I had my second cataract operation in Bexhill SpaMedica a week ago.Sam the lead nurse put me at ease & was very professional & kind.The operation itself was pain free & very quick.I am very claustrophobic & I was supported to deal with this by the surgeon, who helped me with breathing exercises & reassurance. Staff were kind & helpful.The unit is very well kept without feeling clinical.I sent feedback to CQC because I felt the support I had was worth it.I would highly recommend SpaMedica Bexhill & I have already.
