I would like to commend the fantastic service from all the staff at the location I visited. The facility was spotlessly clean. I came in for a thorough pre-operative assessment and was pleasantly surprised to be scheduled for cataract removal the very next day. The operation was painless and professionally executed. I would recommend anyone needing cataract removal to visit this location.
My wife and I visited yesterday and want to extend our gratitude to everyone we encountered for their friendly and professional service. We arrived early due to travel issues, but the assessment began promptly, and everyone provided clear information regarding my glaucoma and treatment. Special thanks to the receptionist who arranged a taxi for us.
The staff were friendly and welcoming. Everything was explained in great detail and I was encouraged to ring them if I had any queries, which I didn’t as they had already answered all my questions. My appointment for surgery was at 11:20 on 12 December but it was about an hour before I was called in. When I asked about the delay they apologised and explained it was due to a technology problem but it would have been helpful if I had been warned about the delay whenI arrived. Once I was called in everything ran very smoothly. The nursing staff were professional and very approachable and the surgeon came to introduce himself and reassure me. After the procedure I was given very clear instructions about how to care for my eye and what to avoid and what I should expect to happen next. Altogether it was a good experience even though the procedure itself felt rather weird. I’m looking forward to having my other eye treated as soon as possible.
I attended Spamedica Wokingham clinic for a cataract procedure. It was an efficient and professional service with each member of staff communicating what the next steps will be and making you feel at ease. I must have got a cancelled appointment because my assessment was on Monday and the procedure on Friday! It has made an immediate and massive improvement in my sight and colours are so much brighter.
