Unfortunately yesterday's visit was not a good experience .Not sure if the assistant was having a bad day But she could see my child was struggling . .But it seemed she was rushing him to chose a pair of. Glasses to a point where I could hear her tutting to another assistant this it totally unacceptable .consider there was adults that were in before us still looking at the Glasses .I just found she was unprofessional
I decided to upgrade my NHS hearing aid to a rechargeable one and decided to go with specsavers, I chose the model and had a fitting for my ear mould Which unfortunately wasn't good enough so I had to return for a second time to get the mould re done .The hearing aid came into the shop but without the mould so I visited for a 3rd time for a fitting which was all done very well. My mould then arrived so I went for my 4th visit to fit it ,the mould was not a good fit and whistled we decided that I could try it for a few days and return to adjust it as they didn't have the equipment to do it then .So returned for a 5th visit but decided to return the mould for a refund as I was charged £60 for it and I would use my NHS mould which was much better fit with no whistling, I told the specsaver person who said that the mould was included in the price I showed them my bill of £60 and was told I should not have been charged. If I had not had a problem with the mould I would never have known about the overcharge. I did receive a refund but no apologies and I'm very disappointed with being overcharge by a supposedly trusted company.
