Specsavers Stevenage Town Centre, awful service today, went on to pick up my new Superdry glasses, chaos in there, everyone was getting rushed treatment. Sat down for my glasses to tried on and they were bent and did not fit, she adjusted and they were still bent and too big, she took them upstairs came down still did not fit she said well you should take them home and try them, don’t really understand how that would work. In the end she got stroppy with me and I asked for a refund and got my money back and will go elsewhere for glasses in future. The quality of service has gone down hill massively I will be going to Vision Express in future.
Appointment easy to make.Very friendly at reception.Professional at ever station.Took time to explain every process at eye examination .Took notice of my views on selection of frames.Fitting of glasses straightforward. All staff were excellent. Tommy,Imam,Georgia and Kerri.
Loved the service and care of optometrist, just hadn’t realised how expensive frames now cost and got home and did think damn my original frames were £300 I should have just paid £70-90 for new lens as per their quotation because I got talked into £300 worth of glasses - the way I see it I’ve spent £210 I didn’t need to and wasted original frame. Guess they need to make money up - also Hounslow branch has zero nhs frames out for adults which is sad to see we’re forced into paying out
