Avoid specsavers in Nutgrove Dublin 14 if you can ! Very poor customer service . My daughter’s contacts arrived different from the ones that she did a follow up test and had absolutely no problems so as optometrists say . Now we are told on a multiple occasions that prescription has been changed but I don’t understand what was the logic of changing the prescription and sign off on it if my daughters eyes have never been tested with a new prescriptions. Very poor . Definitely would not recommend to anyone .
Very poor and unprofessional service from Specsavers in Drogheda, when buying glasses for our 8 year old Daughter we where told to go to Louth Hse to obtain a voucher for a discount on the glasses, I took time off work and my daughter out of school early in order for us to get the this voucher and her glasses fitted upon arrival at the Louth hse, we where told we where at the wrong office as the voucher is only available to residents of Louth and that we would have to go to Navan hse as we live in Meath, I proceeded to Specsavers on the day and expressed my frustration at being given this wrong information, I was not offered an apology by the staff member on the day just excuses about how it was an hse issue and not the fact that we where told by them to go to the Meath office despite our address being clearly printed on the letter that they wrote and gave to us, I understand that the hse in itself is another confusing organisation but you would think that a company that pretends to be professional would give out correct information and not waste people’s valuable, after getting no satisfaction at the store I made a complaint through their website but again after multiple emails back and forth, lorraine from the admin team could not see any fault on their behalf and did not fully understand the issue, an exasperating person to deal with.
Absolutely appalling service on every level from Specsavers in Gorey. I absolutely would not recommend this shop. Extremely unprofessional, incompetent staff, pathetic customer service service. I wouldn’t even give them one star, never again
Although the experience in the shop was grand besides long waiting times and over an hour to get a test done my really issue was with trying to get my prescription information emailed to me. I rang the shop a total of three times and gave my information for them to email me and I just had to give up. They never sent me my prescription after three times. Super annoying and frustrating
I have been a customer for over 10 years .This time was different very poor eye test with no Information when I asked about my eye test I didnt understand the answer as he had a very strong accent. I also had a contact lenses check .He said I needed a prescription change but when I put the new lenses in I couldn't see .He then said the ones I had were OK. I ordered new glasses when they came I couldn't see at all through the left eye .3 times I have been back the company that produce the glasses we're blamed .I then went back again 5 weeks later to try the fixed glasses I still couldn't see .I asked for a refund as I really don't ever want to deal with specsavers again 0/0 .Location : Cruises St Limerick .
Yet again a disappointing service.Went in this morning for glasses after work and I was looking for over 20 minutes, no one offered help. I had to ask and was told by girl on reception she would get someone. Only to find they came and helped, people who just came in. So I walked out after 40 minutes. Terrible service.A year ago, we couldn’t get anyone to help with glasses, waited nearly an hour. There is companies that are happy to take £425 of business.
Shocking customer service..waiting for my glasses for longer than a month..paid close to 600 euros and still no glasses..they do not care about customer omplaints whatsoever and the company has no processes set up to deal with customer complaints..avoid
I purchased an expensive pair of glasses, which I really liked. Unfortunately, one of the temples came off. Despite the brand’s website stating that the frames come with free lifetime service, the advisor informed me that the only option available was to replace the entire frame for €120.This is very disappointing, especially the promise of lifetime service. I will not be using their service again and cannot recommend it to others.Update*After I left my initial review, I was contacted by the Customer Service team who assured me the issue would be resolved. The staff at the store acknowledged the problem and promised to replace the arms of my glasses. Since the original parts were unavailable, they assured me they would use the closest matching ones. However, when I went to collect my glasses, I was shocked to find that only one arm had been replaced which looked completely different. The broken original arm was never returned to me despite my request. On my question how I will wear the glasses with mismatched arms, I was told that “the difference is not noticeable.”
