Review Time
My daughter paid for contact lenses almost 2 months ago in Ennis store. She was told they would be there the following week. No lenses no refund, fobbed off everytime we call into shop, no phone call no email back. Manager always in a meeting.. bloody joke..still no refund or lenses.disgraceful
I left a truthful review of my experience at the Nottingham branch of specsavers.I was contacted by a representative who discussed my concerns and after a short conversation I am now convinced that my concerns will be resolved. I now will look forward to my next visit with confidence.
Would not recommend Eyre Square at all… Had an appointment for 11:30 for contact lenses. 1 o’clock and I still hadn’t been seen. Others were coming in after me and leaving before me. Eventually I got up and left and booked my appointment in another opticians.
I am 69 years old and have the beginning of cataract! I had an eye test in April 24 and was given a new prescription. I have once again been suffering with headaches and straining my eye! Today I went for a follow up appointment and was told nothing had changed and was charged £20!Specsavers in Dalston, London 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
My glasses cost a lot of money as they are varifocal and are thinned down. The coating they put on only lasts 1.5- 2 years. I'm told I have to buy completely new glasses every two years, at a cost of nearly 300 euro. Every pair of glasses I have gotten in the last 5 years the coating has worn away resulting in blurred vision and headaches. I expect things to last longer at that price. Very disappointing. Staff were very unhelpful.
I needed a reglaze and was charged 60 euro. The last reglaze was 45 euro 9 months ago an increase of 33% frames I had looked at went from 140 to 160 euro sometime on that period also. Thinning of the lenses was 120 euro (why not make them thin in the first place!). The optician said 'everything is getting more expensive in the world'. They are called ' SpecSAVERS' It's time for a name change! I can't print suggestions here.
Very upsetting experience at Sprecsavers in Ennis. After finally waiting six weeks for a free eye test approval by my medical card, I was unwittingly given another test which I thought was part of the standard eye test. I didn't ask for it, I wasn't told it was optional or told that it wasn't covered by my medical card. I was very surprised when I was told I had to pay at the end. I wanted to refuse but I was made to feel so embarrassed that I paid. I have social anxiety so it's hard to stand up for myself. I am hoping they will reimburse me. I wonder how many others have had this experience?
I was very happy with my recent experience at Specsavers Ennis. The Optician Riga explained the issues with my eyes clearly and in detail and her colleague Ramshid was friendly and most helpful to me in my choice of glasses & the different options. I was messaged in 10 days that my glasses were ready, as promised.
Service & contact one of the worst. Complaint raised & due to hear a response within 48 hours. Had to follow-up a week later. Unprofessional & insincere response eventually received. I should have read reviews before going to specsavers.
Will never go to Specsavers again.Wrote to the store months ago about their customer service and never received a message back. Then wrote to them again last week asking for some form or acknowledgement and still nothing back!I have been going to them for more then 20 years and cannot believe how they won't even acknowledgement an email.
