I never go anywhere else only to the…

I never go anywhere else only to the naas branch specsavers.went in last week with a small issue with my glasses and was told to go back to wherever I got them I explained to the girl I got them in this shop my name is on the system she asked a manager to help and her response was we don't do that brand and even though I assured her I got them there she said not a hope and I was dismissed one good reason not to go back to naas branch very unhelpful to treat an elderly person in this way I won't be back bet they didn't see this coming

Bought two for 1at pecksavers Tuam

Bought two for 1at pecksavers Tuam, within 8mnts an arm fell off both pairs. Brought them back too the shop, all the would say is they would give me new ones for half price as it was not a production fault that was it,I took my specks home said no thanks, am now considering legal action because of specksavers guarantee the lens on both were scratched despite their scratch resistant pledge.Their sales technique are also a total con with add ons buyer beware is big time here, used to go to specksavers Galway problem free.

Thank you

I was a bit late in leaving my feedback as I was on vacation, but I haven’t forgotten the professionalism, kindness, and passion Ines demonstrated in her work. I don’t usually leave reviews, but in this case, I truly felt it was deserved. A sincere thank you to Ines and the entire Specsavers Swords team.

Rip off

I am waiting now about a week and a half for my glasses I still won't get them for another two weeks, I have bad eye sight so my lenses have to be thinned down I wear bivocals, now I'm on an invilidaty pension because I have a long list of health issues so I've limited funds and yes u get ur eye test for free if u have a medical card or prsi stamp but they try to push this eye scan on top of the cost of ur eye test which is 25 euro same price as the eye test, I refused because I'm diabetic so I had that scan done approximately 3 weeks prior to my eye test which costs the same as the eye test so basically ur still paying for the so called eye test anyone hearing this so it is not a free eye test in my opinion, so u do get so much off ur glasses with either a medical card or prsi stamp which is how I'd gotten mine total of 84 euro off from when I was working, but I tried to get the cheapest frame I could because I cnt afford anything better they had ones for 20 euro but I'm told they won't fit my requirements so I was pointed towards the ones that would they were 100 so no designer nothing fancy but they looked identical to the one for 20 euro so when I said this I was told they wouldn't work but why there the same thickness no difference that I could see, so all in all u get a second pair free but u don't really u get the frames because my eye prescription is so different to most I did not get it for free all in all my glasses were almost 500 euro would have been close to 600 with out the prsi discount they say the scratch proof coating comes as standard the reason I need new glasses because these ones I'm wearing are so badly scratched up I cnt see through them so what ever there putting on them is absolutely rubbish I have designer frames at home which I have a long time never worn but the don't want to let me use them there out to making a killing off people, why can't u use frames u already have why ? This place is a rip off I can't afford it I'd to borrow money so I can see it's a place I hate going to I don't think I will be back ever again my pair before the ones I'm wearing snapped in two at the bridge of the nose I am not rough with my glasses not at 500 a pop I'm not can anyone explain to me why there this expensive and why they snap and break and why there scratch proof coating is rubbish

Waterford store - incompetent

It took almost an hour for assistant to process my eye prescription. When my glasses arrived the prescription was wrong. Returned them today and again the wrong prescription. Extremely poor service and no apology forthcoming despite spending €450. Will never use this company again.

If i could give zero stars i would, AVOID

If i could give zero stars i would. Ordered my 2 year old son’s glasses on the 15th of June,I paid €194 on top of the €55 from the under 12’s scheme. I paid for his lenses on 1 pair to be thinned down and a second pair of frames. I was told the glasses the lady recommended were “toddler proof” and very flexible and would be ready by the 29th of June the latest. The day came to collect the glasses and i hadn’t heard anything so i rang and was told there was a delay but they were in transit and would be here in 3 days. Again on the day in question i hadn’t heard anything so I rang and was told they’re delayed possibly because of how strong his prescription is and would be in by the end of the week. I was also told “not to ring back that they’d ring/ text me. So i waited yet again 10 more days and decided to call back. This time i got a different lady who told me the glasses were still in transit but because they’re coming from Hungary they’re taking longer to get here. At this point i was being told the glasses where in transit over 2 weeks which in this day and age is just quite frankly unbelievable. 5 more days passed and I decided to call into the shop in person to find out what was really going on. Only for the lady to tell me my sons glasses where there for me to collect yet nobody had contacted me to tell me. Considering i was told 3 times on the phone not to contact them they’d contact me when they arrived is just ridiculous. But i was happy to finally have my son’s glasses 5 weeks later!!!! Fast forward 5 days and the “toddler proof” glasses broke!!! He bent them and the hinge broke so now less than a week later i’m down to 1 pair and have no spare. I understand he bent them but I was told on more than one occasion that they’re very flexible and less likely to break. I only went with specsavers because i thought they’re such a big company i’d have no issues but have been met with nothing but problems from the get go. This was my son’s 1st pair of glasses so i’d no experience in buying glasses but I’ll definitely go elsewhere from now on. Avoid this place at all costs!!!

Poor service

Having used Specsavers in the UK and always been very pleased with the service and products, I was hoping for the same in Bray. Alas I am very disappointed. Firstly my husband ordered 2 pairs of glasses but one pair was presented with the wrong lense prescription and had to be re made and just a couple of months later one of the lenses fell out! I also ordered 2 pairs of glasses, the prescription sunglasses were ok but having specifically requested a graduated tint on my everyday glasses and being reassured that it would be possible to have this as per my previous glasses obtained in UK, this was not done when I went to collect them and I was informed that Specsavers do not provide graduated tints 🤷‍♀️Why wasn’t I told this at the point of order? Waste of time and money. We will NOT be returning to Specsavers .

Poor customer care Specsavers Bournemouth/Boscombe

Returned hearing aids £2,995 for refund on 21 May. Audiologist (Laura) said she wasn’t authorised to process refund but I would hear from finance department in approx 2 weeks. I phoned Boscombe branch Friday 6 June (2 weeks and 2 days after no calls) and Maria assured me that someone would get back to me about refund. Nothing. Is this customer care? What’s happened to Specsavers? Guess I will have to ring again tomorrow. So stressful.,
