Horrible experience

My 82 year old mother hasn't had a fridge in a week now because of all the bullshit Allstate puts customers through who purchased this warranty. They wanted her to call around and find a repair person who wouldn't even be around for 2 weeks. They ended up sending her a store credit to go get a new fridge which wasn't even the amount the old fridge cost so now she has to spend more money. Its an absolute joke of a warranty plan

Bought a protection plan from them…

Bought a protection plan from them through Walmart. When I needed to use the plan they were extremely responsive and extremely helpful. I would absolutely recommend their plans to anyone.

So far 2 weeks no fix!

TV repair came out after a week of NO TV. then broke the TV now has a black spot and lines going down it in the middle. Its been 2WEEKS trying to get them to "resolve" this matter! NEVER EVER getting this protection again if this is how you treat customers! They cant even have the same story when I call. One said will have resolution by end of week. NOTHING. this one said they haven't even gotten the repair mans email! BS he sent the email the day after because he sent it to me too! Get your crap together.

A labor and time consuming process just…

A labor and time consuming process just to schedule a repair requiring multiple phone calls, emails and uploads of receipts, videos, and photos. After 2 days of filing a claim and responding promptly to all requests, I have a technician coming out 8 business days later to diagnose the issue. He will be unable to repair the appliance because no parts are ordered, which will then require ordering parts and rescheduling a repair appointment. The whole process should be streamlined and staff properly trained. It has been disappointing and I would not recommend a Square Trade warranty to anyone!

What should have taken 2-3 days is now…

What should have taken 2-3 days is now going on 8. First I had to choose a replacement and then 2 days later had to choose a check or a gift card. No one seems to know what is going on. Typical Allstate trying to keep the claim going on forever,

The entire claim went wrong

The entire claim went wrong. Im still trying to deal with this item when I opened the claim again this has been going on since august. Now im getting crazy questions to answer about where I was when the tv quit or how long did i use the tv before it started screwing up. Ive purchased over 20 of these warranties and I get audited every time I need to make a claim Now im getting this review email when im still waiting on a response for the item to be replaced. Its a messSpoke with someone from Corporate and ive sent everything to them once again and im still waiting. All of these claims are totally legit. I was even approved for one of the items and now the option to pick the replacement i click the link and it goes nowhere This is making me crazy. Do you know how hard it is to have.your vaccuum break with 2 kids two cats a dog budgies and a backyard zoo (chickens and ducks) im losing it!!!

I was sent a phone that broke and outdated

I was sent a phone that broke. The phone sent to replace the broken phone. All's great then. Then that phone stopped allowing me to access "Speaker" Long story cut short. Was told the phone that was sent was out of date, PureTalk thru Allstate, after approximately $200 could do nothing and to send phone back. This was done on 13th of August 2025. Had no phone or access until 18th of August 2025 when a phone was purchased thru another company.

Very disappointed in AllState

Very disappointed in AllState. I purchased a couch less than a year ago. 9/21/24. I bought 2 of the exact same couches. One couch cushion constantly sinks in on the right side. I believe it's the underside of the actual couch vs the cushion since I've tried different cushions in that right side spot and they all do it. AllState said it's cushion resiliency and that's not covered even though the warranty says product breakdown and malfunction. Disappointed!!

check the warranty provider before you get the product

This company works on behalf of Allstate (my cell phone warranty plan). Can you imagine a phone claim taking 2.5 weeks? First there was manual review of the claim with additional information and pictures required of us, then there was the 24-48 hour response time, then there was the responses to emails that get returned to sender so you have to spend 30 min on a call checking to see if they got them. Then there is the phone that never arrived, the emails that never arrived, the phone calls that take a minimum of 30 minutes. NEVER in my life have I had such an incredibly bad experience with a company. When this gets done, I'm pulling my account from the provider that uses them for warranties. They are the worst. So, my advice is before you buy a product, make sure that Square trade isn't involved in any warranty process.

Absolutely Useless Protection Plan

Absolutely Useless Protection Plan – Waste of Time and MoneyIf I could give zero stars, I would. I contacted Allstate Protection Plan to submit a claim for my Epson printer, which has been printing with gaps despite all basic troubleshooting. I patiently spent nearly 2 HOURS on the phone with their customer service, following every single pointless step they gave me—even the ones I already told them I had done.In the end, their “expert” told me the problem isn’t with the printer and that I should just use the printer more often to fix the issue. Really? So now I’m supposed to waste expensive ink printing nothing just to make the printer work properly? That’s their solution? Completely unacceptable.They refused to issue a replacement or even provide a store credit—nothing. Just excuses and circular advice that led nowhere. What’s the point of a protection plan if they won’t stand by it when there’s an actual issue?Save yourself the headache and avoid Allstate Protection Plan. This was a complete scam and an utter waste of my time and money. Customer service was dismissive, unhelpful, and ultimately did NOTHING to resolve my issue. I will never buy another product with this so-called “protection.” Buyer beware.
