Negative reviews on this website are absolute rubbish. I have used Apple support for years, and have never ever had a bad experience. They’ve bend over backwards to help customers, are always cheerful, and adjust their advice to the level of my computer knowledge. I’m absolutely appalled by all the bad reviews. Apple in my experience has been the best customer service of any firm in the UK.

Misleading Claims About Support Availability

The annual fee for 24/7 support is misleading. Business hours are only Monday through Friday, which does not constitute true 24/7 support. A FAQ section that may or may not provide assistance is not adequate. Additionally, relocating the headphone jack to the thunderbolt connector on the latest model is a backward step, especially when previous versions had it more conveniently placed. It's disappointing to see such changes.

Customers should be aware that the support from the company is nearly non-existent. The only help available comes from fixed options on the support website. I had a terrible experience. After buying an application, I found it didn't function as advertised. When I requested a refund 24 hours later, my request was denied. I tried submitting it again, but it was rejected once more. I had no other recourse—not even the option to chat with customer service. Now I’m left with a non-functional app, and the company seems indifferent. In summary, the support feels like a scam. Proceed with caution when making purchases.

Lack of compassion from the company

I used a video editing app once to create a montage for my mum's funeral. Distracted by grief, I didn’t realize I signed up for a weekly charge of £9.99. By the time I checked my statement, I had been charged seven times. I contacted the company asking for a refund for the other six payments due to the situation, but they refused three times. Everyone will face loss one day; it’s a horrific event. It’s disappointing that the company chose to profit from my mum's passing. Shameful.

Gift card issues

I received three gift cards for a holiday from my daughter's workplace. Unfortunately, all three had damaged codes after I peeled the stickers off the back. Now the company won’t honor the cards because the codes are unreadable. The total value of the cards is $250.

I mistakenly bought something for £20, thinking I was just trying it out. When I realized my error, I contacted the company twice for a refund since I won’t use the app. However, they refused to refund me, and now I’m facing overdraft fees, with the app being useless to me.

I cannot log into my account because they require two-factor authentication from an old phone number. They are also asking for an expired bank card. It's absurd, and the support chat was unhelpful and rude.

Update problems

My iPhone 16 Pro Max froze during the iOS 26.2 update. The company directed me to an authorized partner who will charge 24 euros to reinstall the phone, which didn’t respond when connected to a computer at home. They didn’t mention this extra fee. It’s a wasted holiday afternoon and an additional 60 euros for transport due to faulty software.
