Delivered the wrong item. Then after 14 calls and missed locations still didn't pick the item and no credit given yet for the order that was charged. A token of AED 15 credited to the account 🤣.New Safestway SupermarketOrder1310514858 for AED 48. Wasted 3 hours of my time with no resolution. I'm closing my account, will go with Deliveroo in future...a much more reliable service.
Really Awful. Driver was outside my house but didnt drop off the food. When I called he said he “had another very angry customer in a rush” so went to drop off his food first, which was very far from my house. I watched on the app map and took screenshots. Food came freezing cold. Think the driver was genuinely high from the sound of his voice. Called customer service, refunded 2.5jds (not even the delivery cost). I asked to speak to manager and she refused. Said it was automated?.. so how did she bump up the price? Bumped it up to 4jds. It’s not about the money, I genuinely couldn’t care less. It is the principal that this is why their service is getting worse and worse. If you continue to allow this behaviour to happen you will continue to lose customers. The lack of professionalism + customer service assistance is SHOCKING! The restaurant is 5 minutes up the road but I am disabled and cannot drive. Don’t offer a Service if you can’t provide one. AWFUL. Never used to be this bad. Wont be using Talabat again. Disgraceful.
Dishonest chat - false updates on app - “food is on its way to you - needs 20 mins”, 20 mins later “food is on its way to you - needs 20 mins”Called the driver, he’s delivering food to other customers. It’s been and hour and 10mins, still waiting.
I made an order yesterday and it came with no seafood in the soup and the pasta had no seafood and kept complaining and asking to return the order and have a refund and no one gave me any feedback and asked for pictures for the order and sent them and no one contacted me back.. I order from talabat on daily bases and this is unacceptable level of customer service if I had ordered from the shop directly they would have resolved the issue much better than talabat.. I am very upset that they ignored me and will write bad reviews on all social media and google and all places I can find.I don’t recommend this application whatsoever!!!
Talabat Egypt terrible customer service agents. Always have the same answer without actually doing anything. I had not received my items and the refuse to give me a refund as the always use the statement, Restaurant unreachable. Like this gives them the right to steal one’s money. Even though the restaurant owner himself had contacted me directly with another Talabat agent agreeing that the items were not delivered.
