Absolute scam. DONT USE AS A GUEST OR TOURIST. YOU WONT GET YOUR ORDER 2/3 TIMES. MONEY SELECTIVELY REFUNDED,NOT TOTALLY. THEY SCAM YOU BY OMITTING ITEMS AND CHARGING PUTTING ONUS ON YOU To CHASE A NON EXISTENT CHAT FUNCTION,NO PHONE CALL CENTRE. ITS FULLY a scam. By giving partial orders the fraud on small items missed not being chased for hours by consumer to try to get a refund is how they make money. They also misrepresent the accuracy of restaurants offerings. If they say " vegan" don't be surprised if it's fully not vegan. So if you eat vegan for multiple allergies, it's dangerous, for ethics or choice, it's misrepresented..They don't send receipts either, just fees or tax paid so you can't chase your order as a Tourist/Guest .
Viva grocery through Talabat was ordered vide order number 1337073811. Viva invoice complete order but supplied three items less. No information was supplied by either Viva or Talabat. Invoice was raised of complete goods supplied. When chat with Talabat a refund if Aed 9.67 was issued and told Viva has no products. I conveyed that total refund was Aed16.72, then lady said oh she will check, but till now no response. This small amount but fraud has been committed by both parties. This is how Takabat care for customers. Very poor show
I ordered a pepes that said delivery would be within 68 minutes. The food said it was being delivered 11.35 almost one hour after placing the order. The food finally arrived at 12.33 after many messages to the bell service. The chips were cold so I sent the order back with the rider. The rider said he had to travel 23 km… unless he was travelling by foot or push bike is does not take this long. Avoid avoid avoid
A frauder used a card to order from talabat on contacting them to identify the frauder their customer service told me that it's one of my friends hence i didn't have any with my card details. Later they sent a message to show me the my case is resolved without sharing details of the frauder to involve police but only to end it like that.If they knew it's my friend why they don't want to share details and location so that we could contact police.Case number1325423913
The app is horrible late delivery We are being scammed !!!!!!Driver eating my food and forgot to bring stuff scammer fraud and whatnot today I was on the talabat website but guess what they banned me for no reason I dint do anything inappropriate but it says the owner of the website has banned you it doesn’t even say the reason I tried to go to another talabat website but I was still banned all of the sudden Review - 10 Had experience for 5 years but have to write 12 months.
Try to avoid this scam delivery service at all cost. I had few bad episodes before like card payments taken and refunding back talabat credits with a couple of days expiry. They just don't want to give you your money back once taken.The recent issue l had was totally unacceptable. Ordered a medicine for a new born baby. To my surprise the medicine had left less than 10 days before expiration. Raised this issue to talabat and the support desk told me its not expired its about to expire. Completely siding with the scam pharmacy and ignoring the customer's issue.
I made an order on Talabat on the 14th October and on the 19th October I noticed the expiry date of an item was 12th July 2023 (it had been expired for three 3 months!) I contacted Talabat and send them pictures of the expired products and management said they could not do anything because I didn’t complain earlier (the products had been expired for 3 months!!!). I have now raised a consumer rights claim at the DED, submitted the photos and waiting for a response.Worst customer care service ever!
The item delivered was priced wrong (higher), and the Rider kept demanding the extra amount. The Rider kept saying "No English". The Rider snapped at me while he grabbed the bags of groceries. This is really a horrifying experience for me with a Talabat Rider.
