Review Time
I was skeptical about ordering after seeing these negative reviews, but I ordered a week ago (I'm in D.C.) and I already have my order -- smooth, no issue. The quality is great too. I was also afraid the size would run small, but it didn't!
displeased. Ordered in January. It arrived but the size was not right. I sent this back and ordered a larger size. After 1 month it arrived. unfortunately it is not what I ordered. I ordered a jumpsuit and received 2 dresses instead. Now I'm trying to reach Tara Jarmon through all social media with no results... a shame. if I can reach them the standard answer is that it is too busy. do your work decently and it won't be necessary to solve such things
If you are checking these reviews, you are already smarter than I was. After 2 weeks of no news from the shop I started to be worried and came to read the reviews which were terrifying. I couldn't believe it would be a scam as the shop, items and social media are really reliable looking, so I didn't have any doubts about the quality while placing my order. I contacted the customer service and got a quick reply that they are still processing my order, but in 3weeks since placing the order I still didn't have any update. After sending multiple messages through all the possible channels I could find, I got the confirmation that my purchase is shipped, and it finally arrived today. The item itself is lovely and seems good quality, but the process made me feel really insecure about the company and handling things. I wouldn't dare to purchase again, unfortunately.
I am beginning to doubt if they are real since they are quick to take my money but the delivery was very very very slow. There are varying reasons of delays depending who you talk to... almost a month and my order are still processing and yet the money was taken out straight away the minute I hit payment. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEIR WEBSITE.
I ordered two dresses in the stock sale on 29/11/2023.More than a week later, I received a refund notification as it turned out that one of the items was out of stock. I returned the other dress on 17/12/2023. To date, I still haven't received any refund despite sending several reminders to the customer service (on 09/01, 11/01, 15/01, 19/01) and posting several comments on their Instagram. Please don't order on their website. I fear they may file for bankruptcy soon.
I bought an expensive coat on sale. The status said "processing" for days so I started sending emails to ask what was happening. The answer was always an automatic answer saying they had too many requests and that it was taking time to answer. Many emails after they finally said the ordered had to be cancelled because the item was out of stock. It was more than 10 days after I paid the item!! So I sent more emails to ask for the money back that I had paid for the coat. They finally transferred my money to my bank account after 3 weeks!!!! AND NOW (FEBRUARY 2024) I SEE THE SAME ITEM ON SALE, with all the sizes available!!! This has got to be a SCHEME so they take our money for a month, a lot of money from all the people around the world!!! FRAUDE!
Terrible customer service!I ordered a Tara Jarmon dress from Galleries Lafayette website and it turns out I can only return after Tara Jarmon confirms my return request through Galleries Lafayette website (WHAT?). Which they simply do not do! I've sent 3 return requests and got no response in a week! Also they do not react to my messages, they do not respond to GL client relations team messages, they do not respond to emails or phone calls, and the chat on their site simply doesn't work! I can't believe I spent a week trying to contact the brand in every possible way and just couldn't do it! And in the meantime my return window of 14 days has passed. So I've wasted 300 euros simply because their return process is nonsense and their customer service does not exist. If you read this, avoid ordering their clothes through Galleries Lafayette!
