Telenor’s service is disappointing—slow internet and overpriced plans. Starlink offers much faster speeds at 30% lower cost, making it a far better option. For mobile services, Telia provides better coverage and packages at 25% less. Telenor seriously needs to improve both quality and pricing to stay competitive.
I recently received a call from Telenor, offering me a chance to switch to their network with a promise of lower subscription costs compared to my current provider. While this initially sounded appealing, the experience has been nothing short of disappointing.I was asked to switch in the middle of January, but I had already paid my subscription for the entire month with my previous provider. I expressed my hesitation, but the customer service representative assured me I wouldn’t be charged for the month if I switched. Based on this assurance, I agreed to the switch.To my surprise, I just received an invoice from Telenor, stating that I must pay from the day I switched, contrary to what their representative promised. This is misleading and unprofessional. It feels like I was lured in with false promises.I expected better transparency and honesty from Telenor. If this is how they treat new customers, I regret making the switch. Potential customers, beware!
The people themselves can sometimes be capable, but it's clear that the entire system there is terrible, and it is a management problem.They regularly just mark tickets as done, sending be back to front line customer support. Regularly they say they will do things and just never do it, so I have to call them again and so on.The whole process takes forever because they don't communicate internally at all, and they seem to have no overview of what is going on in each support ticket.It's no wonder though, because I remember Canal Digital when that was the name and not just a part of Telenor and they were just as terrible.It is one thing when there is one or two kind of useless individual, but with Telenor it really is the entire company that is failing, and if it was not for their monopoly powers they would have lost all their customers.The internal communication and response to issues is so bad that those few of the support workers who actually take their job seriously are literally shocked by how little gets done it seems.
Worst costumer service and worst internet providers in all Norway …. After receiving a router still neeed to wait 2 months for them to connect …. Costumer service can’t give you no answers because they don’t know nothing about anything all the can help is to twll you how unplug and plug back in router maybe that helps totaly helplesss and hopeless compamy first and the last time i have some business with Telenor or Oneco
Telenor is promising 12 months internet +TV for 899nok and when you call the get the abonnement en T-WE box at 99 NOK p.m. is necessary and thy can only put 6 months in the system. They lave a comment in my case so i need to call after 6 months.calling after 6 months and they can't offer de additional 6 months.
