Teleperformance extracts every ounce of energy and happiness from you and gives back the bare minimum. A truly terrible place to work. The campaign Ralph Lauren is the worse the manager very rude the team leader very rude i wish they all get fired very poor
I wouldn't even tread carefully with this company, I wouldn't even tread/step in their direction. They persistently promise you work, collect copious amounts of information about you (I am talking passport/ passport number/ drivers license/ letters(bills)' they request bank statements evidencing your past salary amount for a number of YEARS). They even take photos of you on a ominous Zoom call whilst the person on the call isn't showing themselves on the camera, something is very, very unsettling about this company- i think they are in the business of harvesting data, it then begs the question...what for? AVOID THEM!!!
I worked for the company for some months. I was heading to a year in their service when I gladly resigned. The team manager I had wasn't supportive for reasons I don't really know – I was suspecting racism. No one would go against him because he trained the other supervisors who equally managed my training and work. He was somewhat unquestionable. All the trainings and engagements were haphazard, and the expectations were very high even without support and the necessary guidance as a remote worker. I had to resign, and I am sure my manager or supervisor, Ian Clark was happy.
This is a terrible place to work at. The company is going broke, they lay off their senior employees, to save money and repost the same job ad, at minimum wage. They will also cut your hours next week without prior notice. The managers are horrible, unknowledgeable, and downright conniving. There's no job security and stability, no human rights concept, you will be upset every week working there.
So honestly if you are someone who just graduated high school or someone who would like to make some money on the side this is the perfect job because the Daily pay is very reliable however in term of requirements to get in, it's nonexistent they will hire someone who's on their death bed, people with no decorum , lack of respect , education and especially hygiene. Some of them smell like weed at 6 am in the morning, Tai the head manager or whatever she was is not an emotionally intelligent woman, and she also seem bipolar. Yelling, smiling like a crackhead. Durning my training one of my colleagues was threatened by another one because of a bald man. The rules change almost every week and sometimes they pick and choose who to dress code. It's like high School #2 but with no age limits. Just toxic, good money and headache
I worked at Teleperformance in Barcelona for one year and three months as a Digital Marketing Consultant for Google Ads. My experience was a mix of positives and challenges. The work environment depended heavily on the management you were assigned to. My manager was incredibly supportive and helped me grow, but other managers seemed less engaged. Colleagues were generally friendly and came from all around the world, which brought a lot of cultural richness. However, it sometimes felt like many people were just there temporarily, with little purpose beyond the job itself. In terms of company culture, there was a lot of international inclusivity, but the work ethic and professional culture were lacking. Opportunities for growth were rare—there were simply too many people in the same position for everyone to get a fair shot at advancement.Compensation was quite low, especially considering the cost of living in Barcelona. Many other companies offer more competitive salaries and better benefits for similar roles. One of the biggest challenges was the constant change in rules and regulations. It seemed like every month brought a new policy or silent shift, and the turnover rate was high—most colleagues lasted only a few months.I would recommend this company to someone looking for their first job in the city or if you don’t mind a lower salary. However, if you’re seeking professional development or long-term growth, this may not be the best place.
Absolute joke of a company. I started with telperformance after my training which was very poorly given. I was working for them for a week only to get a call two hours into my shift from HR to inform me they have employed to many people and from that day I no longer work there. They told me to log off immediately, because I was still logged on to Microsoft teams I had a team leader call me being very patronising and quite threatening. Absolutely disgusting.
Offered a job which was meant to start last week and was told they had to cancel it / had too many applicants. Shocking company and no response from supposed ‘employers’ Definitely should be illegal or needs looking into as I feel really unsafe that I have supplied my financial information with them.
AVOID/SCAM -I had a highly disappointing experience with Teleperformance UK. I was offered a part-time remote customer service specialist role, due to begin on September 4th, after successfully passing all pre-employment checks and submitting sensitive documents, including my passport, driver’s license, and national insurance number. Before my start date, I was told I’d receive a phone call for authorization checks, but this call never came. On my start date, I contacted Teleperformance and was informed that my application had been withdrawn due to the incomplete authorization process. Despite never receiving the call, they issued me a new offer letter with a start date of October 7th, once again requiring me to resubmit my personal documents.I reached out to ensure I wouldn’t miss the authorization call this time, but instead of providing assistance, they informed me the position was no longer available and suggested I look for other opportunities. What concerns me the most is their mishandling of my personal information, which I had to submit twice with no clear outcome or follow-up. After researching further, I found that others have had similar experiences with Teleperformance, as seen on Trustpilot.I urge potential applicants to be cautious when dealing with this company. Their lack of clear communication, job follow-through, and safeguarding of sensitive personal data is highly concerning.I have already reported this to BBC Watchdog and will be escalating the matter to Citizens Advice and other relevant authorities. I strongly encourage anyone who has faced similar issues with Teleperformance to take similar action and report their experiences as well.
