I heard teleperformance was a horrible company to work for so I avoided it for sometime but then got a stage one interview through the jobcentre (mandatory) and both Sonia and Graham were great but then got through to Dan in recruitment and since then Absolutely terrible company get messed about so much before the final interview stage got told the interview date was a typo after it was verbally agreed, also called me Stephanie after I said my name was Stephen in an email like absolutely shocking and shows the initial hearsay was correct. I'm employed by Teleperformance and currently engaged in a project with Bridgestone. The project started off small, but our team has significantly dwindled since the beginning of the contract. We began with 13 employees, but in the end, only one remained until she eventually left as well.The majority of departures occurred after holidays or due to sudden sick leaves, as many couldn't cope with the management style, which deteriorated day by day. Essentially, I worked on two projects. Initially, I was assigned to a new project focused on managing booking applications for Fisker's electric cars. Later, I was also assigned to the Mbbox project because everyone else had left. I had to handle calls in French with minimal training, despite being hired specifically for the Fisker project in Germany. Unsurprisingly, most customers were dissatisfied. Bridgestone eventually terminated the Mobox project due to poor management, leading to the dismissal of the incompetent project manager in Spain in January 2024.Additionally, the working conditions are atrocious. We're based in an office building where only one out of three elevators functions, despite continuous efforts to repair them. Moreover, reaching the restroom requires climbing from the 7th to the 8th floor. Employees are forced to store their belongings in lockers and are prohibited from bringing bags to their workstations. We're treated as if we're 15 years old, despite NOT dealing with sensitive security data. And this not a prestigious company just a call center company. The manager is consistently absent and shows little concern for our plight. The building is completely disliked, with the restroom crowded during lunch breaks and people queuing to heat their meals. We're treated like cattle, with no provision for free coffee, even on special occasions. It's disappointing for such a wealthy company to offer such meager benefits and perks. TP boasts about being a great company to work for, but the reality is shameful.Originally, we were promised a hybrid work model allowing us to work from home, especially considering the distance many of us live from the office. However, Bridgestone reversed its decision, leaving us still stuck in this dismal building. Meanwhile, Bridgestone employees enjoy the privilege of working from home. It is no surprise that both projects have failed. good project managers would imediatly stop the contract!
Please don’t ignore the reviews, you will be taken advantage of. Unfortunately I decided to ignore the reviews as I felt that this company was relatively trustworthy, especially as it’s a large company. However, I was completely mistaken. Ever since starting at Teleperformance, I’ve received less pay than promised. Whenever I question this, I get ignored until it’s the 5th time I ask them and I get the response “everything looks fine”, which is not exactly the clear reasoning I’m looking for. I’m not sure why I was surprised, when I didn’t get paid upon leaving the role, despite following all the rules in terms of notice periods etc. Again, I question this and I’m met with invalid reasoning. I then supply them with all documents that I’ve signed an highlight terms and conditions; funnily enough, I haven’t gotten a response since. It’s so incredibly clear, that they are taking advantage of employees and they will try to scam you. If you want to go and work abroad, please consider other options, as Teleperformace will unquestionably take advantage of you and not pay you what they promise, or even at all!!!
This company can improve by really giving back to its employees, because right now its just focused to pool resources away from its people, its clients and its employees.To give some context. I worked as an Agent in this company for awhile(few years) and had the chance to see behind the scenes in the way support is done for many global consumer products. First of all, companies like Teleperformance are human resource companies... they just happen to have human resources that are also ITs and have money to build an infrastructure for BPO. But that's where it stays, afterwards the company needs "talents" which basically means people who can speak a certain language. In my honest opinion, I have had a few roles here, the best by far were my Agent responsibilities, because I had peace of mind for things that are not in my control or plate. The money was very little compared to the prices and life expenses, even for management positions, which needs a whole separate round of discussion. But this company is now "big" and "powerful" and "rich" and that is why they will buyout opinions rather than fixing the core model of their business which is 1A exploiting human resources for their work, time and money. I was a very good Agent raking up all "bonuses" they could offer. I wanted to grow my salary and responsibilities. The company started to offer me supervisor positions that I kept declining.. because the conditions were worse... 6 months went by and every few days some new role was presented to me.. and this time they offered what seemed like a pretty good "promise" so I accepted the new role (which meant for me to quit living in Athens and move to Chania for this company). 6 more months later and I'm in my new role fully included but not satisfied.. because each month I was getting less and less money and more and more work out of the job. The Cherry on top was when I pushed for a supervisor contract (because they kept me working there with an agent contract) and after a stupid back and forth having to tell them why I need and want this contract.. they sent me one without any mention of title, salary, responsibilities... basically a very shameful contract for such a company.. that contract bordered on modern slave agreement.. just enough money for rent, bread and water. Bottom line for me is that this company is WAY TOO GREEDY and how you treat people, people will treat you too.
SCAM, SHADY, ILLEGAL.Worst company ever, worst job I ever had. Threats, abuse, exploitation, control, rudeness. They request a lot of work and effort, all for 5 euros a hour in Barcelona. Teleperformance Crete is by far the worst company, i've ever worked at. Culture, Management and Work Environment is toxic.Here are some of the examples I experienced:1: The housing. Teleperformance offers paid housing to their employees. The budget and therefor rent for that appartement is £300 per month + power, that is taken from your salary. The "room" I was placed in, was the smallest, most nasty and noisy place, i've lived in my entire life. The internet connection was between 1 and 5mb, so could barely stream a Youtube video and not access any other websites. They simply refused to load and Netflix, Facebook or any other "free time" sites, was not possible. Bringing this up with Housing, did absolutely nothing and it was never fixed.2: Management is the worst i've experienced, since I was a teenager. Mentor's who should never have become a mentor, but she was dating the Supervisor of our project, so somehow she had become a Mentor. Toxic personality, power hungry and not fit to work with people what-so-ever. When I was missing almost £200 from my salary, I brought it up with the lead of my project and the response was "This is normal". Also this, was never fixed and I never saw the missing £200.3: Work environment is so bad, I find it hard to describe. No set schedule about breaks. All websites, besides Google or internal sites, was blocked on the network. "Clean Desk Policy" meant that you had Supervisors walking around like small guards and checking (multiple times a day) if you had anything but a mouse, keyboard and headset on the table. Hard to believe that it is a company for grown ups. Felt more like being back in school.4: Eveyerthing costs money. Transport to and from work, with the COMPANY busses, costs £40 a month. The cantina was as expensive, as going to a restaurant on the island. Not uncommon to pay £10+ daily, for food and something to drink with it. If I wanted to change from the unliveable appartement, that they placed me in, I would have to pay £100 to be able to do that. And it was not possible to see any of the other appartements, you just had to pick somewhere else and cross your fingers, that it wasn't more bad than what they already had placed you in.5: Salary is a joke. As mentioned above, I was missing around £200 from my Salary. That was apparently "common" and nothing was done to fix that. Should not be a thing, with a company at that size. To begin with, the salary is a joke, and you are barely able to survive on it, if you want a social life on the side. £1029 per month - power - transport - food at work. And Greece is not that cheap, when you live on a turist island. No different from Northern Europa, when buying daily items to cook or what else you needed. A visit to a resturant in the area, quickly became £15-20 per person. Final words: Can only say, if you want to experience the world and work in another country, choose every other company on the planet, than Teleperformance. They will pay you better. They will treat you better and you will not feel like you are trapped. 3 from my team, has quit in that month I've been here. From what other people told, it is common that people go after 1-3 months, due to the poor standards.Fun fact: In that oné month I was working for Teleperformance, there was 2 strikes, because people wanted higher pay. And the only thing they got out of it, was the treat of being fired.Go somewhere else. You will regret going to Teleperformance.
Teleperformance portugal is a scam. On day one there were problems with the housing to start with, both drains were clogged because of the filty room mates who had no health standards. This took a week to fix, i wasn’t able to shower because the water was brown and made my body itch. Then lets talk about the moisty rooms they put you in, its full off molding witch will affect your lounges. I got sick of this for a few days and they told me it is normal. Then because of the illness they didn’t pay me. So i was there for 6 weeks, getting paid nothing and wasted my time. Do not work for teleperformance in portugal, lisboa.. its a scam… time waste, money waste.
I worked there for approx 9 months when I came to greece they were the first company I worked with. They fixed all my paperwork very quick and the trainer was a cool dude.Actually directly once I started working there I could feel the toxic energy , I would bump heads with my supervisor at the time he was very rude and mean and sexist, and it happened when I didn't accept the offer to go out for a drink, I only realized later that's why he had an issue with me. I figured it out when others told me stories about him that he harrassed girls and stuff like that thank god within a couple months he left. When I told the ACM my problem he didnt really took me serious and let me interact with the supervisor that gave me the creeps. I already read some reviews about the company so I thought,, I guesss that's what everybody was talking about and I didn't really wanted to switch jobs so soon knowing how the greek bureaucracy is so all over the place. Now I wished I switched directly in the first couple months.My problem really started after I got sick. At the time i already stated a couple times my issues that I had with how all over the place and stressful it was and the supervisors that ask me to do their jobs and bullied me. Regarding to the work i was told "Miele" is just a new project things will get better. It didnt and it started to take a toll on my health i started to get burn out symptoms and offcourse my immune system went down and eventually i got very sick.The first time in october when I came back from sick leave I got switched from emails to calls eventhough i told them I had throat issues due to covid, supervisor told me he didnt care they needed staff so I told him if I cant get back on emails , i will call in sick because I came back to work because I thought I'd only do emails and out of goodwill and thats how i was welcomed. so I called back in sick and from then they started to give me hell with not wanting to pay my sick days, and blocking my eu card proces.When I finally resigned in january and threatened to report them to the police , I somehow was paid my salary quite quick and got my sickdays a while later after they was contacted by the authorities.Then after receiving my last payment I was offcourse jobless and was contacted by someone that posed a job recruiter , I didnt think much of it, sent me a text to my WhatsApp on my greek number that only teleperformance had and I never use for anything else. But I was looking for a job. i got scammed out of almost 1k and after making a police report and talking to people the only way we can look at is teleperformance greece.After the police contacted them, they , teleperformance sent me 50 euro or so, not knowing why. and the supervisor was stalking me to get my equipment back even called me with his personal phone private while that should go through HR that had the nerve to threaten me with legal action because I did not reply on the weird supervisor calls and emails ?! was HR aware that I made a legal complaint or do they just dont give a f and are they actively bullying and stalking me for leaving. I asked HR for a time and date to come pick it up , they refuse to give one they rather harras me though the email and show up on my doorstep unannounced, which have gave me a very unsafe feeling for a long time.But again after talking to others and also greek locals I learned this is normal behaviour as nobody was surprised this happened.Also I was told I should not rely on the authorities to help or protect me.And yes I am a person of color.This has traumatized me so much I decided to leave Greece this year.Ps, They must have seen my review on TP greece because the stalking just continued again they now sent a nother supervisor contacting to get my personal information while that should go through HR and not a random supervisor complained about this while working there as they ask this through M S teams which is very Careless in regard to privacy
One of the WORST Google 3rd party vendors out there. Their recommendations TANKED some of our accounts. After we let them go, they have attempted to contact me and my staff numerous times. They even contacted one of our major clients directly because we "ignored them". This was over a year ago and they still attempt to contact our company.
