Frye boots are NOT true to size. I normally wear a size 9 and ended up with a size 8. I purchase 2 pairs and still didn't get the sizing right and ended up purchasing from Amazon because Frye didn't have my size in stock and frankly I was tired of dealing with them. I purchased one pair on December 1st and the 2nd pair Decmeber 8th and DID NOT SEE MY FULL REFUNDS ON MY CREDIT CARD UNTIL FEBRUARY 3, 2026. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. DO NOT RECOMMEND. The boots are great but FRYE CANADA is AWFUL to deal with.
This is the most disappointing shoe company I’ve ever dealt with. I purchased a pair of $400 shoes seven months ago, and the heel came off. Even though I bought them from a retailer, I was beyond the 90-day return policy. When I contacted the support team, I learned there was no warranty despite their claims, and they offered no assistance. I strongly advise against buying any shoes from this company.

I wore the boots twice, and something seems off with the oil applied to them. I bought them recently and didn’t get them wet. I informed the company and offered to return them, but they said they couldn’t help since they were purchased from a third party.
Their size descriptions are so inaccurate compared to previous boots I’ve owned. The leather quality is poor, unlike what I’ve bought before. The price is now outrageous, and they mislead about available sizes. They expect you to pay for return shipping for a product they can’t accurately describe. I regret my purchase.
I am deeply disappointed. I bought a purse, and four months later, the strap anchor came loose. I contacted the company according to their warranty policy, requesting repair or replacement, but they stated they do not honor their written warranty. Because of this, I will never buy from them again.
